  1. Past hour
  2. Back before MTV turned to shite. This contest was epic...every boy's dream. MTV was flooded with entries.
  3. FYI, we have applesauce in the U.S., too. Apple Butter is distinctly different...more like a jam or spread to use on toast or whatever.
  4. "Baby Come on Home" - Led Zeppelin
  5. "Baby, I'm a Star" - Prince
  6. Today
  7. As my list shows, I do dig the '75 versions. There are many great ones. My top 10 would probably be 9 from '75 and the original version from TSRTS.
  8. Undoubtedly, but it was still a legitimate business. Jimmy republished Crowley's Goetia through The Equinox in 1976. An original is shown here: https://www.miskatonicbooks.com/product/goetia-by-aleister-crowley-equinox-bookshop-jimmy-page/
  9. Evening Star - Judas Priest
  10. "In the Evening" - Led Zeppelin
  11. I'm glad you got tickets. I tried but couldn't. I lived in Fredericton from 2003-2006. Such a lovely city. I have got back a few times for the FredRock Festival that the city has.
  12. Rio De Janeiro (December 2009) http://rocknrollmusic4ever.blogspot.com/2009/12/meu-fim-de-semana-com-jimmy-page.html
  13. Rio De Janeiro (June 23, 2010) (with Pedro Sobrinho)
  14. According to Nick Kent it was partly staffed by junkies and was also a drug connection place.
  15. Love making my own Hummus and it is the easiest thing to make. 1 can of Chick Peas 2 Cloves of Garlic 2 Tablespoons of Tahini Juice of Lemon Salt to taste Olive Oil enough for a smooth texture Half teaspoon Paprika or Cumin ( optional) BLITZ
  16. Art is a very nice guy and a heck of a drummer/teacher. His articles in DRUMHEAD magazine are great and fun to play. He really mixes it up with the rudiments. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiSybDzvqniAhUiNH0KHVOCAioQFjAAegQIAxAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.artbernstein.com%2F&usg=AOvVaw1qGp4DWq5XUHgnyUo-9Z5-
  17. I see your Gloria and raise you mine! Death To The Blues for at least one more game LOL!!
  18. Yesterday
  19. I think John Bonham would’ve been the one to demand a break from the long tours, and being a way from his growing family. Robert was all in as long as John was there, yeah he did say that by 77’ tour they were grinding through the shows but the huge audience going berserk would motivate anyone to continue even if they weren’t in best form in all their shows.( I think a bad Zeppelin show would still be better than a good show from anyone else. ) I guess Robert and John Bonham would have made it clear that Zeppelin was going to stay closer to home, shorter tours, longer breaks, then call it a day by 1995.
  20. McQueen making a u turn on Army St. I lived about 6 blocks from there.
  21. I'd love to have it too.
  22. Stuck in my head for days and I love it
  23. Shakshuka: the in-meal of the moment. Fantastic Eggplant (marinated in olive oil and pomegranate juice, oven-baked) with pomegranate seeds and tahini dip Tomato cucumber salad Falaffel (mix from the supermarket. One day I'll try one of the dozen recipes I collected over the years, one day ...) Hummus (from the supermarket, one day ... see above)
  24. Like crepes but slightly thicker and I like them with blueberries also very much. Had to google Apple Butter, sounds terrific. It's slightly different form our apple sauce.
