John Paul Jones to play NYC in April

I saw Merce Cunningham when he was still performing as a dancer. Mostly he choreographed, though. Einstein on the Beach comes to mind. Philip Glass was a favorite composer.

Nice photography by Mikhail Baryshnikov! Thank you for the link. Photography goes very well with dance. Whenever a dancer is injured, a camera is a wonderful way to stay occupied while the injury heals.

I really enjoyed watching Merce Cunningham's company perform. They are one of the most athletic companies, very modern visually and musically, modern art that moves.
