I've been foaming over this lately: Yep, that's the original debut album of Queens Of The Stone Age that isn't available anymore in red vinyl!!! It's just €11,- in my favourite record store in Amsterdam and I hope they still have it in a couple of weeks when I set to get back.

The Joke kicks some serious ass. Sorely underrated stuff if you ask me.

Third Eye, Ticks And Leeches, The Grudge, Rosetta Stoned, Lateralus and Flood. Six more absolute 'grande finale's'! About the clip: Honestly I'll say you don't miss that much. It's the similar Alex Grey-animations as on Schism and Parabola. I think it would be very refreshing if they would shock everyone and come with another 'band'-vid like Hush. Love that one and it's message!

A sick, sick movie. The twist near the end requires some suspension of disbelieve (some psycho-sexual headfucking going on, in fact), but all in all the meat store was open. Not THE best horror movie I've seen this year (that accolade goes to Suspiria with Audition taking second place) but close call.

i love the part about Crazy Jerry and Wild Bill the Mannequin-Fucker Also love his stories about how he handled a cheerleader whom he calls "name omitted because I'm a nice guy" after she sneered towards him during a speech "Everybody up! And that means YOU TOO, FRANK ZAPPA!", remaining seated and responding with "Why don't you go fuck yourself!" Lots of funny anecdotes in it and hilarious illustrations, but admittedly he can get a bit carried away about the political system.

Just finished reading this Zappa Bible again... It's essential reading for every true fan!

Zappa albums can't be long enough. Hell, I even think Läther's too short!
