We have another winner. This is good stuff. Now let me scrape myself off the floor. It's also strong!

This one's working for me: Hobgoblin Dark English Ale http://www.wychwood.co.uk/index.html It's a lot like a Sam Adams. It's got a taste that keeps the whole tongue busy.
  4. Thanks. There is a simple elegance to that picture. More often than not, the things I find most valuable in life are simply happenstance.
  5. I helped paint the signs and put them on the truck. I also bought the chips and beer.

25 years ago there weren't any widely known really good American Beers. It took the Boston Brewing Company, and a few others to show that Budweiser has no clothes.

As I recall, it has some hint of lemon in it. It's worth trying. It's certainly not bad. I've found that their Boston Lager and Boston Ale are still the ones I like the most.

This one's too in between. It's not as complex as a Sam Adams and certainly not as full bodied as a real Deutsche Hefeweissbier. Given that the good bier store was closed, this was a modest consolation. Still wish I had snagged the Sam Adams Brewmaster's Collection instead, or even the Boston Lager.

It's what I got for the folks at the DC911Truth 4th of July picnic. Fortunately, the women preferred the Chardonnay (No Poindexter, it's not beer, and doesn't come in cans).

I need to compose my formal response to the RFC Editor. There is clearly an error in the above.

http://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc1149.txt Network Working Group D. Waitzman Request for Comments: 1149 BBN STC 1 April 1990 A Standard for the Transmission of IP Datagrams on Avian Carriers Status of this Memo This memo describes an experimental method for the encapsulation of IP datagrams in avian carriers. This specification is primarily useful in Metropolitan Area Networks. This is an experimental, not recommended standard. Distribution of this memo is unlimited. Overview and Rational Avian carriers can provide high delay, low throughput, and low altitude service. The connection topology is limited to a single point-to-point path for each carrier, used with standard carriers, but many carriers can be used without significant interference with each other, outside of early spring. This is because of the 3D ether space available to the carriers, in contrast to the 1D ether used by IEEE802.3. The carriers have an intrinsic collision avoidance system, which increases availability. Unlike some network technologies, such as packet radio, communication is not limited to line-of-sight distance. Connection oriented service is available in some cities, usually based upon a central hub topology. Frame Format The IP datagram is printed, on a small scroll of paper, in hexadecimal, with each octet separated by whitestuff and blackstuff. The scroll of paper is wrapped around one leg of the avian carrier. A band of duct tape is used to secure the datagram's edges. The bandwidth is limited to the leg length. The MTU is variable, and paradoxically, generally increases with increased carrier age. A typical MTU is 256 milligrams. Some datagram padding may be needed. Upon receipt, the duct tape is removed and the paper copy of the datagram is optically scanned into a electronically transmittable form. Discussion Multiple types of service can be provided with a prioritized pecking order. An additional property is built-in worm detection and eradication. Because IP only guarantees best effort delivery, loss of a carrier can be tolerated. With time, the carriers are self- Waitzman [Page 1] RFC 1149 IP Datagrams on Avian Carriers 1 April 1990 regenerating. While broadcasting is not specified, storms can cause data loss. There is persistent delivery retry, until the carrier drops. Audit trails are automatically generated, and can often be found on logs and cable trays. Security Considerations Security is not generally a problem in normal operation, but special measures must be taken (such as data encryption) when avian carriers are used in a tactical environment. You buy beer that stays on the shelf long enough to be impacted by light? Not me. Hell, I can't even get my favorites these days 'cause they're all sold out.

German spelling. As for not putting beer in cans, you have raised yourself one notch from the typical Miller drinker. Still have a long way to go, but that's a start.

Here's one that isn't working for me: It's too rich and tastes more like a mixed drink than a bier. I can taste the alcohol jumping out of it. Imperials are stronger than typical biers - 10.6%/vol. I hate to give them a negative review since they clearly put some effort into concocting and brewing it. I've somewhat lost my taste for stouts. If you like Guinness and don't have to drive anywhere in the ensuing couple hours, I say give this a try. You might like it. Especially if you are inclined to pour a bit of vodka in your bier.

I just can't bring myself to do that to my taste buds again. Now, their American Ale was pretty good. My boss and I tried it when we were on travel in St. Louis.

I feel so left out on a thread like this. It's not that I have no a sense of humor. Unfortunately, I have a tendency to be putting people on and they take me for dead serious. Then when I'm serious, they think I'm having them on. I won't even bother with Deek Jackson. I think he is way funny, and deathly serious at the same time. I watched about a dozen Hot for Words videos, and could find one to go her, but I think she's funny. Piss on it!
