  1. Thanks for interviewing Mike. I've mentioned before that he and I are friends in real life, but with that grain of salt, Mike's contribution to the world of Led Zeppelin cannot be overstated. The book he wrote with Dave Lewis, "Evenings with Led Zeppelin" is a must have for everyone reading this. It covers Zep's live career in stunning detail. The man himself, Jimmy Page, referred to it as "that great book" when talking to Dave about it. For anyone who doesn't already have a copy, you need to get one.
  2. Bumping this for the anniversary of the show. Hard to believe it took place the better part of 30 years ago.
  3. Thanks. I'm glad you like it. It's a really good show, and I think it's performances like these that helped the band grow so quickly. Of course releasing a bunch of great albums in this same period didn't hurt, either
  4. Just finished listening to Thank You. What a great version of that song.
  5. That's an interesting observation. The concert took place in a giant stadium, but the video doesn't really show that.
  6. Thanks. I'm glad you like it. Hopefully it gives people a reason to listen to the show again, because it's a really good performance.
  7. Thanks. I'm glad you like it. This show was the best sounding thing from this period for a long time, but it never seemed to get its due for being a great performance. Hopefully the remaster gives people a chance to listen to it again and appreciate just how good of a show it is. In particular, Robert seems to be at the very height of his powers. His voice still has the incredible range he displayed in the very early days, but he's learned to control it better.
  8. Thanks. I sent you the link. For me, Since I've Been Loving You is my favorite part of this show. Robert is amazing in it.
  9. Here's the latest release in The Stereo Project. Send me a message for the link.
  10. One of the things I love about the internet is being able to come cross stuff like this. I had one of Nektar's studio albums back in the day, but this is much livelier. The jam really gets going around 4:00 minutes in, then keeps on for the rest of the song.
  11. Yeah, it's good stuff. They have another live album called "Erupts" that's also worth checking out.
  12. Nothing in here about Zep, but interesting overview of the Melloton and its use iby various bands:
  13. 10 inches / 25cm of snow yesterday, and 3 inches / 7.5cm of rain is expected tonight, along with high winds. May get to try out our generator for the first time tomorrow.
  14. Happy Birthday. Thanks for all of the great music.
