  1. That's taken from the Asbury Park NJ-1975 bootleg.
  2. Just saw those covers you did of Zep and Sabbath thought they were great. :)

  3. I've seen the Never Say Die video but not The Black Sabbath Story I and II, I know I need to. Have seen the Beat Club performances. There's also footage from the Cal Jam '74. I guess "Children of the Grave" appears in The Black Sabbath Story Vol I. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLkZJMv3Lxw
  4. The package is well done except for missing the d in Rat Salad. I thought the overall quality of DKRC was quite good so much better than the youtube vids which is really the only thing I can compare it to. It would be cool for Sabbath to release a DVD with the '70 performance along with DKRC and Never Say Die performances. Not sure if any other footage of the original lineup exists? Anyway, so glad that the raw powerful '70 performance exists and seeing it uninterrupted. Also the fact it's in their early days playing in a small venue (no more than 200).
  5. Two songs sounded good. Neil is such a prolific guy puts out an album a year or just about.
  6. Just purchased this! Had been hoping my local record store would have a dvd of the '70 performance. Now I have it along with DKRC.
  7. Death Row aka Pentagram covering Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf". Incomplete though. Damn Bobby's facial expressions are priceless.
  8. Contains nudity viewer discretion is advised. Electric Six "Body Shot"
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QDSrpycAmI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6w_CgjTvSg
  10. Domo, heavy rock from Alicante, Spain. I see that in the picture one is wearing a Pentagram t-shirt and another is wearing a Graveyard t-shirt, nice.
  11. An alright cover of "Snowblind" done by Sleep. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cF1wb-fmhVs
  12. ^^ I don't think there is a way to embed vimeo clips you should ask Sam for it to be a future improvement on the site. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1C2hgivqwJ8
  13. I think Run-D.M.C. made good music in the 80s. Some classic stuff actually.
  14. I absolutely love Dead Man, I even have their debut 7" single. Bummed that they didn't tour the west coast last year with Radio Moscow they only played dates in the east coast and that they broke up. They were great together.
  15. It would be years before I was born but I can imagine how relieved and excited one would have felt to hear the new Sabbath stuff with Dio and new solo Ozzy albums.
  16. You're right need to get that one, Dehumanizer that is.
  17. I'm with what what has already been recommended but don't forget about the Dio stuff that's really great too. This is my favorite song from the 6th album still with Ozzy. There's 8 albums with the original lineup. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbcc2cF-uDw Two albums released with Dio under the name Black Sabbath. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EL67mjv1nM
  18. Yeah they surely were a great band. My favorite album of theirs is the s/t. Not sure if you've seen it but I have the Last Waltz DVD and would highly recommend it to you. There's also Levon Helm, he has put out a lot of good material you might like.
  19. http://www.soundspike.com/news/tour/702-zappa_plays_zappa_tour_frank_zappa_bust_installed_in_baltimore.html Frank Zappa bust installed in Baltimore, Zappa Plays Zappa dates ahead A bust of Frank Zappa was installed Saturday (9/19) in Baltimore, the city of his birth, on the 25th anniversary of his famous Congressional testimony against the efforts of the PMRC to require labeling of albums containing "explicit lyrics or content." It also is the start of a birthday celebration for Zappa -- he would have been 70 on Dec. 21 -- that will include the tribute band Zappa Plays Zappa. That group, which is headed up by Frank's son Dweezil, will perform the album "Apostrophe(')" in its entirety while on tour this fall and winter. Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake declared Sept. 19 as Frank Zappa Day in Baltimore at the ceremony attended by his widow, Gail, and sons Dweezil and Ahmet. The bust is on display at the Southeast Anchor Library. The bust is a replica of one created by artist Konstantinas Bogdanas that is on display in Vilnius, Lithuania. Three Lithuanians -- Saulius Paukstys, Saulius Pilinkus and Arturas Baublys -- hatched the idea of honoring Zappa in Maryland. They attended the unveiling along with Vilnius Mayor Vilius Navickas. The dedication was followed by a performance by Zappa Plays Zappa, which will launches the "70th birthday" tour Nov. 6 in London. The U.S. leg runs Dec. 1-19. Zappa Plays Zappa will be performing the legendary "Apostrophe(')" in its running order as part of the shows along with Frank Zappa material that has not been played on previous Zappa Plays Zappa tours. Dweezil, in announcing the tour, wrote that the band "will be performing with [Frank] once again via the technological wonderment of enhanced video." Frank Zappa, who died of prostate cancer in 1993 at his home in Los Angeles, addressed Congress on the dangers of placing warning labels on CDs, saying they would lead to censorship in the arts. 20. I'll be seeing this band Ancestors in a few weeks.
  21. The Last concert I attended was two nights ago at ZanZilla in Ventura, CA. Night Horse was supposed to play but one member came down being sick but I have seen them before and wasn’t impressed by them overall indifferent about them so I wasn’t bummed. The Fucking Wrath local band and recently signed to Tee Pee Records opened the show. They were good, loud and heavy. They're playing at the same venue with Ancestors in about three weeks might have to attend that. Radio Moscow were phenomenal I wrote more about them in the Radio Moscow thread. Guessing no youtube clips will pop up for this concert but here's a very recent clip. You can't hear the vocals but the instruments sound fine.
