  1. Yeah, John Frusciante (Here is the spelling) is awesome. I particulary like his style on Blood Sugar Sex Magik.
  2. Why don't we just say that you have to be talented to be great at any genre of music.
  3. December, 1963 (Oh What a Night!) is my favorite disco song (It is disco, right?).
  4. Huh? I was saying that Lupe's lyrics there were insulting the wannabe rappers out there today; that quote was saying how dumb the drugs and stuff are (Lupe doesn't smoke or drink at all, btw). I geuss you just misunderstood me, but Daydreamin' is an awesome song (Like all of Lupe's stuff).
  5. Gangsta rap was more a 90's thing; it died down after Tupac and Biggie were killed and with the advent of the 00's. P.S. This is an awesome example of how degrading/offensive lyrics can be used to criticize or mock people who rap about bitches or 'hoes,' and to maybe send a positive message. "Now come on everybody, let's make cocaine cool We need a few more half naked women up in the pool And hold this MAC-10 that's all covered in jewels And can you please put your titties closer to the 22s? And where's the champagne? We need champagne Now look as hard as you can with this blunt in your hand And now hold up your chain slow motion through the flames Now cue the smoke machines and the simulated rain But not too loud 'cause the baby's sleepin I wonder if it knows what the world is keepin Up both sleeves while he lay there dreamin..." - Lupe Fiasco, (Daydreamin')
  6. I love me some good hip-hop. A Tribe Called Quest, Jurrasic 5, and my new favorite Lupe Fiasco are all great, and i'm sure i'll be all over whatever CRS (Lupe Fiasco, Pharrel, and Kanye West) put out.
  7. Mick Jagger is second to Robert. I really like Roger Waters' voice though.
  8. One day, I got my new issue of Game Informer Magazine in the mail. Flipping through, I found the Top Ten section and it was a list of the top ten songs they wanted in Guitar Hero 3. Number one was Stairway to Heaven. Their description of the song and the band had me going to Youtube to check them out. Although, I do remember hearing Immigrant Song in School of Rock before this.
  9. If I'm not mistaken, Train Kept A Rollin was the first song Zep played together.
