  1. I thought there was a thread about LZ related stuff spotted around us, but I couldn't find it so I started a new thread... I was playing Words With Friends on my iPhone today and saw something awesome at the bottom of my screen.
  2. Awesome! My dad went to this show. I emailed him the video and he was very excited.
  3. A copy of The White Stripes' single "Lafayette Blues."
  4. Chad Kroeger of Nickelback Pierre Bouvier of Simple Plan Jordan Pundik of New Found Glory And someone mentioned William Hung...I wouldn't even call him a singer.
  5. When I was in high school there was a poster in one of the classrooms that said those very words.
  6. Wow, I haven't posted in here in ages. So, lately, a few things that have made me happy: - Spent last weekend with a good friend of mine who had just returned to the US after spending 10 months in Guantanamo Bay. It was awesome catching up with her...I missed her a ton! - Met a new guy; our first date is tomorrow night. And... - Going to New York City in June! I've never been...so excited!
  7. I remember worrying about Y2K too. On New Year's Eve my mom and I actually spent $300 on groceries to gear up for it. lol The 2000s was a big decade for me. In 2001 I got my very first job, graduated from high school, started college. Graduated from college in 2005, moved to a new city and started working full-time. Bought my first home in 2006. Unfortunately that same year I lost my grandmother and a dear friend, both to cancer. So yeah there were major ups and downs. The last few years I've made lots of friends, gone to many concerts, traveled a bit and have been trying out some new things. I'm looking forward to what 2010 and beyond will bring.

I don't have an iPhone, but I do have an iPod Touch which, like another poster said, does everything an iPhone does except make phone calls. However, it's possible to make calls on the iPod touch if you download the Skype app. So it's like having an iPhone without the steep monthly plan! The only thing that stinks is that you have to rely on Wi-Fi to connect to Skype, so you're more limited on where to make calls.
  9. I was watching a video on YouTube of Aerosmith performing "Sweet Emotion" live and at one point they break into the middle of "Dazed and Confused." It was AWESOME; they really nailed it. It put a huge smile on my face. They start playing it at the 5:35 mark...check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8L7RDe1GYQ
  10. I'm so sorry to hear about that. Well, technically this wasn't today, but this past Sunday I heard someone living on the floor above me puking his guts out. I just had to hear it right before I was about to eat lunch. Needless to say I quickly lost my appetite. Ah, the joys of apartment living.
  11. Stephenie Meyer's "Breaking Dawn." 250 more pages and I will have officially read the entire Twilight series...yay. lol
  12. Semper Fi! From a proud Marine brat
  13. For Your Love - The Yardbirds
  14. I'm glad your car's service went well. I get kinda nervous myself whenever I take my car in, even though there hasn't been anything wrong with it so far. Mostly because my previous car gave me so many problems. There's public transit where I live, but it's not good enough to depend on entirely. I'm happy about going to the state fair tonight, in which its slogan happens to be "A Whole Lotta Happy!"
