And I saw "Inception" a few weeks ago. I'm STILL trying to figure that movie out...

Oh wow, I totally forgot this, but I was talking to a friend about Muse toady, and Electrophile's post reminded me...
I saw MUSE open for U2 back in October. They were just jamming between songs, and the guitarist breaks out in the opening riff of Heartbreaker. I freaked and was waiting for then to kick it up, but they never actually played the song, he just ran the riff for a few seconds.
I was a bit dissappointed... but then again, did I REALLY want to hear MUSE do Zeppelin?

I was watching a "House" rerun within the last couple of days, and House said something about Led Zeppelin albums (sorry I can't remember the exact dialog).
Was it the guy who's left & right brain wouldn't work together right?
He was a guitarist, and air-guitared to get his brain in sync or something. They were playing China Grove in the operating room for him.
Later, the team was talking to House, and after he gave them this huge, wordy diagnosis and treatment, he walks out and says
"Oh, and try Led Zeppelin"

I know it's kinda blurry, sorry.
It's a shop uptown. Haven't been there yet (whenever I'm in the area, it's late night & they're closed) But I want to go, just for the heck of it really.

My daughter and I went and saw Pirate Radio today. It had a lot of good music but no Zep as this takes place in 1966. It has a loose storyline I thought but I like Phillip Seymour Hoffman as an actor. My daughter was the youngest in the theatre as the demographic of the viewers were all 50 something. Don't want to give too much away of the end but it was sad that all the records on the boat were lost. (I'm sure they were just props. I Hope.)
Oh I know!! The record thing really hurt my feelings...
I went to see it last weekend with some girlfriends. We had a blast & are still talking about it. ("I think I should be called Clever Kevin" is a favorite...)
Then we made fun of the (no offense to anyone) Twilight freaks that had been in line for hours...
But I recomend the movie to anyone on here, since you must like classic rock to a point.
I liked that it was (loosely) fact - pirate radio was a real thing & it's role in rock is really shown in this movie.
