  1. Whoa racchan! Amazing!! My favorite is the dragon suit, I think you did great!!!

Well, this is my humble sketch. I drew it last year, so it's fading a little. I know It's not the exact logo, but I didn't even really mean for it to turn out like this. I just picked up a pencil hung on for the ride.

(I'm no artist, but it does look a bit better in person)

  2. I'm watching House, and I missed the first 20?? minutes of it, but it's about a guitarist whose left & right brain don't work together right. When I turned it on, he they were running tests on him I think, and pumping "China Grove" into the room& he was air-guitaring with it. Later the team is talking to House and he said "Try Led Zeppelin" What's really cool is that less than a minute later, Black Dog came on my radio :D

  3. Denis Sheehan was Robert's personal assistant on the 1977 US tour. The jovial Irishman had previously been a roadie for Maggie Bell, who was signed to Swan Song ( Jimmy made a guest appearance on her 1975 album "Suicide Sal"). This was the first tour where all the band had their own personal assistants - Rex King was Bonzo's, Dave Northover Jonesy's , and Rick Hobbs Jimmy's.

Dennis joined the U2 entourage in 1982 and is still their tour manager to this day. Last year Bono brought him onstage in Las Vegas to toast him on his 59th birthday.

For real anoraks, Sheehan makes a small appearance in the movie "The Thing About My Folks" with Peter Faulk. He plays a tackle shop owner.

I bet he's got some stories to tell, Zeppelin & U2!

    Great Bron-Y-Aur pics, Alice75 :D

Awesome thread Knebby!! I'm really enjoying it!

  4. I saw a guy wearing one for the US tour in '77 at work yesterday and just smiled. I don't think he saw me.

That's not as bad as what happened to me; I had on my funky neon 77 Tour shirt at school one day. As I was walking out of the auditorium, a guy went by in a Hermit/Stairway shirt. "Hey! Nice shirt!" I yelled (well-not really yelled, spoke loudly) He just looked at me & walked off. <_< He saw me, he just ignored me. I walked off mumbling about how You know it's bad when the Led Heads can't stick together. <_<
