undoubtedly brilliant and one of my all time favourite bands! i have all their *original vinyl albums* and at one time loved them to bits! BUT...somewhere in the back of my mind there is the pete townshend child pornography issue - that just won't go away. he has tainted the legend that was both him and The Who - well he has for me anyway. i cant help feeling he got off lightly with his *just doing research* excuse - i mean come on!!! AND at the end of the day he still had to sign the sex offenders register. why did he have to that if he was innocent?

i don't mind jlt - but not that keen on the drummer. i always remember a live show were he came on with massive drumsticks. looked a bit silly to me and spoilt the ambience.

yes - love rainbow up to and including *difficult to cure* i think i put cozy powell as second only to john bonham! not as much of a fan of deep purple though - but still done some good stuff my favourite rainbow lineup was the blackmore,powell,dio,carey, bain gathering - brilliant! *rainbow rising* has got to be in my all time top ten! what do you think of blackmore's night? i'm not to sure about the look ritchie has gone for with them - they look like something out of blackadder

It's obvious that my opinions are just that - opinions - and nothing more! There's no way I could have misled someone reading that post about the Faces or Rod Stewart. Most people would have just thought "oh she doesnt like the faces or rod stewart or the rolling stones" I didnt realize I had stumbled upon the Rod Stewart/Faces appreciation society. You guess right - it is okay for Zeppelin members to carry on playing!!! They are not more famously known for their antics with girls/women far younger than themselves like Wood & Stewart. Stewart has made a living out of it. Zeppelin members are still renowned for fine musicianship whereas those two are just an embarrassing couple of old letches - the oldest swingers in town (aside from the Rolling Stones - oh Ronnie Wood again). I am sure Stewart will be given a knighthood in a few years as is usual for people of his ilk - what an absolute joke !!
