  1. Hey no worries I really do not care people pointing things out, I did search couldn't find and started mine explaining, its just the guy has a problem with me and I guess I do like to put my fishing rod out and wait for a bite !! I do search, just because I couldn't find it. I am one who does search and bring old topics back up the list, I would say more so than others. I confess I haven't all the time in the world to be scrolling pages ( eh Jimmy). Its just the attitude after I had explained why I reposted that made me laugh, he should of just taken it as right ok I get what he says, move on and lets get on with YES debte instead of getting all arsy. I do not just start topics off for the sake of them. Anyway this is the last about it as its so futile and no probs you saying. I will reel the fishing line in............for now anyway. PS Roundabout is a classic song.....eh back on topic.
  2. Umm well am posting in it and have explained the reasons, and nobody has posted in the thread for 3 years, and the last post was mine, forum guidlines ah the ones nobody follows, so your not the Spanish inquisition but now the forum Police. I'll post hereif I want, and if I choose to post in the other I will too, if the mods want to delete my thread or merge it with this then I am well cool with that, but not going to keep on spelling it out to you anymore, thanks again for locating it, but with respect your now wasting my time..
  3. This story, you know when your times p your times up, and when it isn't this happens 12th Jan 11 Italian man sneezes out bulletby Harry OldfieldAn Italian man has startled doctors by sneezing out a bullet. Darco Sangermano had been celebrating the New Year with his girlfriend in the city of Naples when a stray bullet struck him in the right temple. The .22 missile went behind his right eye and became lodged in the 28-year-olds nasal cavity. Naples is known for getting particularly high spirited during the party season with revellers enjoying letting off the odd firework and gunshot. Mr Sangermano started to bleed like he had been shot in the head and was quickly taken to a nearby hospital as partygoers rang in the New Year. While waiting for medical attention, doctors were astounded when the patient sneeze and the bullet flew out of his right nostril. Doctors then examined the patient and operated to move some splinters of bone which had lodged behind Mr Sangermano’s eye as the bullet entered his head. They have since said that the patient, who is from Turin, should make a total recovery. Doctors pointed out that Mr Sangermano’s eye, and indeed his life, had been saved because the bullet had been slowed considerably when it hit his skull. Dr Guglielmo Ramieri explained in an interview that the bullet had impacted with the temporal bone which is close to the temple. The bullet was so slowed in the process that it then grazed Mr Sangermano’s eyeball without directly impacting with it. Although the patient will need a bit of fine tuning to his retina and his eyesight will be a little fuzzy for a while, he will not lose the use of his eye, according to the surgeons.
  4. Um because its manners to thank the person who found it, ,but feel free to carry on if you want in this thread, or post it in the other thread if you want, its hardly gonna cause the end of the world here. I replied to earlier posts than yours and again do I just ignore them ?? I think the other posters on here will to read your post on there and make their decision whether to reply to me here or on my thread . Are you the Spanish inquisition ?

    Make me laugh!

What do you call dead chicken ?....................................................Paultryguiest Ok true story, a good friend of mine and an ex work mate calls me "Clit" as a nickname, asking why do you call me that ? he said " because your a slippery little F*cker thats hard to locate" as whenever he radioed me I wouldn't answer and was probably off having a cig when I smoked
  7. " " "Child in Time" solo 1993 Ritchie's last show with Purple, I saw him/them about a week ten days before this at the infamous (dvd) "Come Hell or High Water" at Birmingham NEC, this was one of the few moments that Ritchie let rip and forgot his turmoil with the band....Epic stuff.
  8. Black Country Communion....One last Soul......you tube man
  9. Well I love Blackmore for being a dick, thats what makes him, pound for pound I think he has come up with as many classic rock songs than anyone. I have based my entire life dressing in black playing a cream strat, starting fights with myself, being a rt moody Tw*t, married twice, divorced twice kinda guy , only thing is I am not Sha**ing the singer, although I was the flute player, but thats just not Rock'n'Roll and I don't own a castle in Bavaria. Black Country Communion...."One Last Soul".....You Tube
  10. Will haveto get that, I got "History,Hits and Highlights" on Dvd, which is very good. Glen Hughes and BCC are dam fine band with Jason are they not ? "One last Soul" is one catchy Mother
  11. LOl was that really you ?? I remember that, was sitting on top a porta loo at the time near the front and side, drenched, cold and pissed off, but Purple made it all worth it. Do you remember the night before in the camp site that The Friday Rock Show was being broadcast from there and Vance was wlking around with Ian Gillan, what other big group would have a member doing that the night before their first show back home in years. Gillan good egg, just a shame he and Blackers couldn't get on . Here is some of my sad memorabilia and photo's from that wet, cold lovely weekend I have seen it on the web on the purps website, haven't got it though, is the dvd good ?? whats on it ??
  12. YES NOT REALLY THE MANS STUFF YOU WERE ON ABOUT
  13. Nobody was in the league as Zeppelin when they were on form live..period, but Purple were more cosistant live and were and are in the higher orgder of bands, Blackmore did say he wrote "Stargazer" after hearing "Kashmir", but its not second rate,The late/great Dio's vocals are good. PS The hammond is glorious and Lord is a virtuoso. Blackmore had to work hard to keep up with this guy. Thats cool, I got "Deepest Purple in 1980" and saw them many times from 1985 onwards, first being at "Mudworth" or "Knebworth 85" as its better known, I never did get to see Rainbow as was more into Purple, but seeing them at Knebs was my fave concert moment up untill 2007. Where abouts did you see Rainbow ??
  14. God mine was six months ago, it was "The Rage Factor" Finsury park and Rage Against the Machine.
  15. Mandrake Root and Wring that Neck from the In Concert record was the first I heard of Purple other than SOTW, great stuff, we need to get the Purple thread up again
  16. Can't wait both will be less than a week apart .
  17. The man had a vision of how this band should be and he succeeded in creating a monster....thanks for so many iconic songs.
  18. Ah thats a shame, its just a video of quotes from Gerrard saying that divers a ruining the game, interspread with a montage of Gerrard being a hypocrate and diving in the box trying to get and getting penalties. Bubble eh....Bobby Moore a true legend, a word we over use but he is one without doubt.
  19. Ha ha well if your a Pool supporter then take a look at this below http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja1KR0kFsxI
  20. Manchetser United V Liverpool 3rd round of the F.A Cup.... These two north west teams have dominated English football in the last 40 to 50 years. Only 45 to 55 mins down the East lancs Road between each other. Doen't matter who is on form or is winning the most, when these two teams lock horns anyone can win. Its the mother of all games in England. Both have proud traditions and have a mutual respect through gritted teeth.
  21. The Astoria Theatre, 157, Charing Cross Road, London, WC2 The Astoria was coverted from a factory to a Theatre in 1927, Jimi Hendrx played there, it is indeed one of the best venues to see any form of music as the acoustics were great. Its a travesty it got demolished in 2009. Have happy memories seeing Robert Plant on his "Non Stop Go Tour" in 1988 and a few others their. "imgimg" Demolished site 2009 "imgimg"
  22. Here Comes The Sun - Beatles
  23. My link ^^^^^^^^ Enjoy the read, the guy invented it and as it says on the website now its just part of guitar playing like pull offs, hammer ons, tapping and your sweeps too. A legend in the guitar field. (not sure link is working but stick his name in and you will get to his website)
