  1. Trunk Show set listing : Sad Movies (previously unreleased) Harvest Cinnamon Girl Oh Lonesome Me Kansas Spirit Road No Hidden Path Ambulance Blues Mellow My Mind The Believer Like A Hurricane Cowgirl In The Sand The Sultan
  2. I saw them on the Siamese Dream tour and it was one of the best gigs I have ever been to. For me, it has to be the classic line up, with James and Darcy in the band though
  3. I love the way Alex pulls funny faces and sings stupid lyrics when he plays that live ( as he did on the Rush30 tour) Obviously has a great sense of humour and does not take himself too seriously
  4. Both of those are huge favourites of mine.
  5. My favourite Dread Zeppelin cover is Immigrant Song. Very funny, but very clever as well
  6. That's the only reason I watched that film too
  7. Now watches Match of the Day instead, according to Mick Wall
  8. As with all my favourite artists, my favourite track by the changes all the time. At the moment it's a toss up between Achilles Last Stand and The Rover for me.
  9. I feel the same way. Complete and utter legend. If I had to single out one album though, it would be On The Beach
  10. For some strange reason, I seemed to completely miss out on Jeff the first time round. I got into him courtesy of Neil Peart of Rush. He went on and on in one of his books about how great Jeff was, and I had to check him out. I was blown away by him, and Grace remains one of my all time favourite albums
  11. Yes, a huge back catelogue to go at. Probably my favourite band of all time
  12. Why is it controversial ? On it's release, Jimmy said that the Grace album was the best thing he had heard all year. Apparently, was singing Whole Lotta Love as he was messing about in the river, just before he drowned. He was a huge Led Zeppelin fan, so Jimmy's praise meant a lot.
  13. Me too. I can't take a list seriously that has Ringo Starr on it, but not Neil Peart. Certainly the best drummer I have ever seen play live ( never saw John Bonham perform live)
  14. I'd agree. I never got to see Led Zeppelin live, so I can't comment on their live shows. In saying that, I would have loved to have seen them at their peak, and have no doubt that they would have been unbelievably brilliant. I have seen Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band a few times though, and can say first hand that they are the best live band I have actually seen. Rush are also brilliant, but there gigs are very professional and polished, where as Bruce will ad lib and change the set list every night.
  15. Whole Lotta love. Was familiar with the tune before I knew anything about Led Zep, because of Top of the Pops in the 70's
