  1. Woo Hoo- Baseball is Back!!! Starting with the National League: NL East: Mets (will never pick against my team) NL Central: Cubs (get the feeling this might be their year) NL West: Giants (let's see if the every other year thing works again) Wild Cards: Nationals (probably will be up there again), Cardinals (seem to be there all the time) American League: AL East: Red Sox (think they will surprise this year) AL Central: Royals (last year's champs probably will be good again) AL West: Rangers (also did well last year) Wild Cards: Blue Jays , Tigers (both did well) NL Cy Young: Jacob deGrom (my favorite Met) AL Cy Young: David Price (will win many games if Sox do well) Happy Baseball everyone & Good Luck!

  11. Congrats to Matt Harvey of the Mets, who was named NL Comeback Player of the Year today!
  12. Happy Birthday to kingzoso, hope you have a great day & congrats on winning the Baseball Postseason Contest!
  13. Congrats to the Royals on their World Series victory, they played like champions and are well-deserving of being the best team in baseball. Congrats to my Mets as well, they played their hearts out but in the end it wasn't enough. But I am very proud of them- most people didn't expect them to get this far this year- and am equally as proud to be a New York Mets fan! Definitely not disappointed in them (the only thing that I'm disappointed about is that Jacob deGrom is going to cut his hair LOL), thanks guys for making this an enjoyable baseball season! See ya next year. ...
  14. ^^ Ya Gotta Believe, Paul- Ya Gotta Believe! It was pointed out to me yesterday, that in 1986 the Mets lost Game 1 of the Series by 1 run, and Game 2 of the Series by 6 runs, and of course went on to win in 7 games. This year, the Mets lost Game 1 to the Royals by 1 run, and lost game 2 by 6 runs......
  15. I'm with Deborah & luvlz- would love to see Jimmy & Paul perform together again!
  16. Happy Birthday Walter, hope you have a wonderful birthday!
  17. Not sure if she still comes here, but Happy Birthday to redhairedqueen!
  18. Actually I believe the contest is now over, as the only people who could have gotten any points from the World Series would have been me & Paul since we both picked the Mets for the Series, but unfortunately we both also picked Toronto as the Mets' opponent. Congrats to kingzoso for winning the contest!
  19. Happy Birthday Rock Historian, hope you have a great day & thanks for sharing that excellent video of JPJ at the House of Blues!
  20. Hi Dave, nice to see you back on the forum again! I guess you got the "sorry your entry was not selected" email from the Mets too. I think they sell standing room only tickets, but I heard even those are mega-expensive. Wondering if Game 3 at Citi Field might be had for a reasonable price as people would probably charge more for Games 4 & 5 .
  21. Happy Birthday Virginia, hope you're enjoying your day!
  22. I always see commercials for both of these on tv & wondered if people really do win. Have you ever won anything from either of them?
  23. Happy Birthday Sathington, hope you have an awesome day!
