  1. Happy Birthday PlanetPage hope you have a great day!
  2. Happy Birthday Ledzeppfan77 hope all your bets are winners today!
  3. Happy Birthday Strider, wishing you happiness & good health today and always!
  4. I haven't got the new album yet but the couple of tracks I've heard I like. I will be seeing them at Barclays Center in Brooklyn in October- first time seeing Priest & looking forward to it!
  5. Happy Birthday to Paul Carruthers, hope you have a great day! (Just don't watch the Mets, no reason to be unhappy today )
  6. I understand what Steve Coburn was saying- believe me I really wanted Chrome to win & was hoping he would finally be the one- but Secretariat faced all fresh horses in the Belmont except 1 ( Sham ran in all 3) and Seattle Slew & Affirmed also had many fresh contenders to deal with as well...it's not called The Test of Champions for nothing. Chrome did have a gash on his hoof after the race so that could have affected his performance. I hope we see more of him down the road, especially the Breeders Cup Classic.
  7. Oh ok, sorry I guess I took it the wrong way. Good luck with your new phone, I know people who have the iPhone & love it!
  8. I didn't steal any songs, I BOUGHT the cds that they are on, put them on my computer, transferred them to my phone & now can use them for a ringtone. Why would Jimmy have a problem with that? Sorry Ledzeppfan77 I thought I was trying to help.....oh well live & learn
  9. Good news for California Chrome- the NYRA stewards are going to let him wear the nasal strip in the Belmont. A few years ago they refused to let I'll Have Another wear one but he was scratched the day before the Belmont with a leg injury.
  10. I don't have an iPhone so maybe this is a stupid question, but if you have iTunes on your computer couldn't you transfer Stairway or Kashmir or any other song in your iTunes library to your new iPhone to use as the ringtone? I did this with my new Galaxy S5 and have Jam Sandwich for my ringtone.
  11. Happy Birthday Super Dave! Hope you have a great day! (it's always cool when your b'day falls on a weekend )
  12. Happy Birthday STZ, enjoy your special day!
  13. As a Mets fan I know which horse I will be rooting against..... General A Rod Thinking I might go with Wicked Strong who's on the far outside.
  14. Wow- how cool was that! This was the first Zeppelin boot I ever got (The 1975 World Tour w/ orange insert), and I always have loved the Kashmir from this show.
  15. Yes I did- very nicely packaged, I like the way the insert sleeves are exactly like the original vinyl album sleeves. Haven't had time to listen to them yet, think I will start from the first album & listen to them in order.
  16. I think today was the release date of the Black Sabbath box set, supposedly mine will be arriving tomorrow- looking forward to it!
  17. Yes this video is the Nassau Coliseum show- I compared Someone To Love from this video (the first song) to the Nassau video I have (Someone To Love is the second song on mine, Fortune Hunter is the first). Camera angle is the same, band movements are the same but what clinched it was that both videos have the same comment from the taper/audience member at the same point.
  18. Awww thanks for thinking of me Deborah, I know you love The Firm as much as I do.
  19. Just realized that 28 years ago tonight I was in the front row at the Nassau Coliseum watching The Firm, ahhh happy memories...
  20. Thanks for letting me know about this new box set Ozzy, just ordered it Dark Lord, that's so cool that you will be doing that, how many times have you seen Sabbath?
  21. Last night I saw Sabbath at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn- and today I am still awestruck.... what a show!!! Even though it was the first show on this leg of the tour, they were tight & spot on. I don't think Ozzy has ever sounded better. They came out around 8:30 (didn't care for the opening act Reignwolf just sounded like a bunch of noise to me) and played for 2 hours: War Pigs Into The Void Under The Sun Snowblind Age Of Reason Black Sabbath Behind The Wall of Sleep NIB End Of The Beginning Fairies Wear Boots Rat Salad Iron Man God Is Dead? Dirty Women Children of the Grave encore- Paranoid I thought the set list was good, mixing in the new songs from 13 with old classics (although I would have liked them to do Live Forever from 13 & Sweet Leaf, Megalomania & Symptom Of The Universe from the older albums). I noticed when Tommy C started his drum solo, 1 guy in front of me stood up & was giving the thumbs down sign. I know there's controversy between Bill Ward & Sabbath but IMO it shouldn't be taken out on Tommy. But all in all it was an amazing show & even though I considered myself a fan before I now have a deeper appreciation for them & I plan to get the albums that I don't have. And my husband, who only a couple of days ago was complaining that I was "dragging" him to this show he didn't want to go to, absolutely loved it & said it was one of the best concerts he's ever seen.
  22. My fave is the Ozzy era, for me that is the classic Sabbath. Ok, first let me say that I'm not totally familiar with all the Sabbath albums- I have Black Sabbath, Paranoid, the We Sold Our Souls compilation & Heaven and Hell, plus a couple of cds a friend burned for me with songs taken from all Ozzy era albums (but I'm not sure what albums some of them are from). But if I made a list, I would put 13 after most of the early albums but ahead of Never Say Die & Technical Ecstasy. Just curious- what didn't you like about 13 that you put it last?
  23. Thanks guys- only 2 more days can't wait, this is gonna be awesome! Just reading jimm's post above, he posted his rankings of all the Sabbath albums- sorta surprised that he put "13" at the bottom of the list, I thought it was an excellent album.
  24. I'm going to the Sabbath show Monday night in Brooklyn, this will be my first time seeing them & looking forward to it!
