  1. Well said Strider and agree. Glad I saw him twice. First time at ARMS shows in NYC with the holy trinity. Jimmy Page has stated in the past that Jeff was a more gifted guitarist than he is. I may have to agree with JP.
  2. What a loss and glad I got to see him twice. The first being the ARMS concerts in NYC with Jimmy and Eric Clapton. Here performing "A Day In The Life" at Ronny Scotts in 2007. JP is in the audience.
  3. A big Happy Birthday to one of the greatest and iconic musicians ever!
  4. It's just too bad a lot of the focus in this footage is on RP's shoes. But, still love it and glad it's there from a historic show.
  5. Great stuff. Hell of an instructor and these guys do the song justice. Well done and very cool to hear. It happens to be my favorite LZ tune from my favorite LZ album.
  6. A big Happy 77th Birthday to JPJ. You have brought so much happiness to my ears over many years! A true talent and virtuoso!
  7. Very cool video and great footage. Pretty awesome to hear Peter Grant intervening. At least he was good about it, which wasn't always the case related to things like this.
  8. Definitely looking forward to hearing this one, even if it's just the YouTube version. I'm sure I can download it eventually.
  9. Always enjoyed his writings and experiences regarding Led Zeppelin over the years. He will be missed, but on to future experiences and endeavors for Dave Lewis.
  10. My personal favorite as well and the O2 version is awesome as well. 6/25/77 is another fave.
  11. Robert also made a surprise appearance at a bar in Scotland during an open mic night on Tuesday, That would be so cool to see and great for the bar owners and those in attendance there! Here's a recent news piece regarding his appearance. Just awesome! https://planetradio.co.uk/planet-rock/news/rock-news/robert-plant-open-mic-night-aberdeen/
  12. I agree Steve regarding Robbie Blunt. Many years ago, but Robbie was amazing on Robert's first two solo tours in 1983 and 1985. I'm glad, I was so privileged to see both of these tours live in Hartford in 1983 and New Haven in 1985. The first was special as it was the first time I ever saw Robert Plant perform live. So many times since then and last being in June with Alison in Philly at the Mann. What a show and Robert still has an amazing voice at 74. Not many in his age group can still sing like this. Anyway, back in 1985 at the former New Haven Coliseum, I remember how incredible Robbie Blunt was on guitar. He blew me away. Much more so than in 1983. It was "Little By Little" that did me in. WOW!!! Here's a performance of the song ten days after my show in Toronto at the CNE and just two weeks after Zep's horrendous performance at Live Aid. Robbie is incredible and Robert is in fine voice as well.
  13. I saw Robert perform "Season of The Witch" back in 1993 in NYC. Pretty cool.
  14. Hope you can get this amount for it. I have this as well. Didn't think it was worth that much.
  15. I couldn't agree more. Perhaps, an alternative song for the Twist competition at Jack Rabbit Slims in "Pulp Fiction." Now this would be cool!
  16. This is awesome and so clear and well filmed footage. Just want to hear great audio with it and I'll be in LZ Nirvana! Perhaps, we'll get a surprise when the doc comes out....like a audio concert. We can dream!
  17. Me too Steve. Some very creative stuff, but certainly not his best album, but I still enjoyed it. Although, some of the material does sound a bit dated today listening to. "Little By Little" still has a great sound and feel to it in 2022. Love it!
  18. That was awesome Strider and thanks for sharing. Robert presenting award to Buddy begins around the 2 hour point.
