Finally watched No Country For Old Men. pffft. What a solid, suspenseful film.. too bad the ending tanked tremendously. While I can see why Javier Bardem got the Oscar (He derserves it), I cannot see this as a superior film to either There Will Be Blood or Into the Wild.

Night At the Museum.. It had its moments. Certainly a kids movie and not too bad, eventhough they made Octavius into a pussy. The Last Kiss.. Got sucked into it. I'm a big Scrubs fan, and it was cool seeing Braff doing something completely different.

I still have Robby Krieger's cell # because of Tremonti. How I got it is left for private discussion.

American Beauty is their most popular and easiest to listen to on first glance.. I prefer Workingman's Dead. Anthem of the Sun Aoxomoxoa Blues For Allah Shakedown Street and of course, Europe 72. But their catalogue is vast and great explore. I have every album released before 1988 and still prefer the "Pigpen" years over any. Easy Wind (Live) is just killer with him on vocals and harp. As for Live Dead, there are more boots available for them then Zeppelin.

I watched the Last King of Scotland last night on HBO. Awesome movie.

Eventhough editor Verna Fields is credited for making Jaws the visual masterpiece that it is, I'd have to say Close Encounters is Spielberg's best movie behind Jaws. Not only is it visually striking and has one of the creepiest scenes ever filmed (the abduction), Spielberg wrote the whole script himself, backwards. And yes, Dreyfuss is the fucken man in that film.

Last new movie I saw was Live Free or Die Hard....the tunnel scene with the helicopter says it all. Rocky Balboa was the last film I watched. Loved it more this time around than when I saw it in theatres.
