  1. San Francisco Bay Blues by Jesse Fuller as performed by Richie Havens from his album, Mixed Bag This is Phœbe Snow's version: (close to Richie's interpretation, but different tempo & rhythm, tho') http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_4NuDvKZQM Chord Frames (The Intro is fun, because you keep the D shape and just travel or slide on down the frets while playing the "D" bass) F/d Chord ☞ E-_A-_D-_G-_B-_E |__|__|__|__|__| |__|__|__*__|__*←5th fr. index, middle |__|__|__|__*__|ring |__|__|__|__|__| |__|__|__|__|__| ☞ F/d means "F with a D bass" E/d Chord E-_A-_D-_G-_B-_E |__|__|__|__|__| |__|__|__*__|__*←4th fr. |__|__|__|__*__| |__|__|__|__|__| |__|__|__|__|__| E♭/d Chord E-_A-_D-_G-_B-_E |__|__|__|__|__| |__|__|__*__|__*←3rd fr. |__|__|__|__*__| |__|__|__|__|__| |__|__|__|__|__| D Chord E-_A-_D-_G-_B-_E |__|__|__|__|__| |__|__|__*__|__*←2nd fr. |__|__|__|__*__| |__|__|__|__|__| |__|__|__|__|__| TABS (slight variations, depending on chord. 3. Good question, Dr. Robert! For me it's been a mixture of rock, folk-rock and classical pieces: Low Spark Of High-Heeled Boys - TrafficBilly The Kid Ballet Suite - Aaron CoplandAn album by Brian Eno & H. Budd (sorry I forget the name)Some pieces by Oregon, also by the Paul Winter Winter Consort
  4. Hello Evster! I didn't get a chance to hear your performance ↑ I'm having a little trouble downloading it. Yet, I did get to see you and your bandmates perform "Hot Dog" on YouTube! WOW! I viewed it and was wonderin' if you would do a good job on that very last riff, and, you did not disappoint! You NAILED it!!! Excellent job! Such energy! You guys are GRRRREAT!!! Hope to see yez LIVE one day! haha!
  5. ↑ Aha! Good one! California, Here I Come - Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance & whoever played "Fred Mertz" BTW, Oops! Sorry, didn't see your Anthony Benedetto post! --------❖--------

  7. Oh, sorry haha re the second ¶. Only meant to say, if you want to, you can vary the rhythm a little, @ § 1:10 and 1:45. Ya know, that section where its back-and-forth between chords B & A (hope I named the correct chords) Hope ya don't mind, I like using law firm typewriter's font! BTW Thanks for the alternate tuning info. Again, great job!
  8. San Francisco Bay Blues - Richie Havens
  9. Midnight Train To Georgia - Gladys Knight & The Pips
  10. ↑ Wow great job! Much better than my attempts too! You use alternate tuning on it? Keep up the good work! Hi there! I listened to it again (very good!). At about 1:10 and 1:45 (sorry, might be off a few secs), I think its a back-and-forth between the B & A chords? I would've played more of a cross-rhythm--like a bum-da-dee-dumm, kinda rhythm. Just for added variety during that phrase. Sorry, not the best technical terms! Like a: B-B, A, B kinda deal (boldfaced B's are the dotted notes) On 0:41, that point was great, the way it crescendo'd to that point. Nice hammering on while you're playing the bass parts, etc.! Sounded like a beautiful attack by an "army" of guitars!
