Telling my sister I won't be going to Cozumel and the Cayman Islands with her. One, it's $452 not including taxes for my ticket and my passport. I don't have that kind of money and neither do my parents. Two, I don't speak Spanish and I'd be afraid to leave the boat out of fear I'd get lost or something and not be able to get back. Three, spending 5 days with my sister and her friends during Spring Break watching them get drunk and act like effing morons is not my idea of a good time. Since I don't drink, go to clubs, bars or any parties where the only thing to do is drink, what the hell would I do while I was there? Sit on the boat and stare at the water? Four, spending God only knows how long in a car driving from here to Miami with a bunch of people I don't know to get on the boat is insane. I don't know why she lied and said she was told to ask me if I'd like to come with but I feel so much better now that I told her screw it, she's going without me. I don't even know why my dad is letting her go, she's a fucking flake.

Jimmy is such a perfectionist when it comes to this, he'd never let them use any footage of Zep playing if he didn't think the video/audio was up to his standards. So maybe a DVD of the whole show will come out, whether there's any footage of Zeppelin on it is another story.

There's definitely a coincidence between the two songs, at least to my ears. I think it was on the very first incarnation of this board (back when I first joined in 2004) where someone brought it up and when I listened to both songs I was like......okay yeah, I see it.

Rumors are just that. Rumors. It's been nearly 2 years since that show and if news hasn't come out by now about there being a potential DVD release, then I don't think there will be one for a while. Look how long it took them to release ANY live footage on DVD. The 2003 DVD came 23 years after the band split up. I'm not saying we'll have to wait another 23 years but I wouldn't expect anything by Christmas.

Anyone graduating from college, no matter their degree, is going to have debt. It doesn't matter if you went into teaching (like my sister), business (like me) or medicine (like them). Obviously medical school is extremely expensive, so their debts will be more than mine or yours or my sister's or anyone else's. That doesn't mean however, those people go into private practice solely to make money. I'm sure the prospect of being able to pay off those debts faster than those who choose to work in hospitals is very, very alluring, but to say that they all take that particular route for the sake of the almighty dollar is not only insulting to them, it's painting them all with a very broad brush. I don't doubt that there are med school grads who take private practice to mean the fast track to easy street and a debt-free 20s and 30s, but I would bet they are in the minority. Not everyone who chooses to be a doctor (or a lawyer, even) does so just to make a lot of money. Some people, and I know this is strange to you, some people do so because they truly want to help others and the money is merely a side effect.

Very tough to choose between Trampled Underfoot, Kashmir and Ten Years Gone, but I went with Ten Years Gone.
