  1. Over the hills and far away...Led Zeppelin....Southampton.
  2. I went to my nephews grade six graduation. He's a great kid!!
  3. I have been away working for the last three months. This weekend we went to the theatre to see Angles and Demons. I thought the movie was alright but i liked the book much more. I don't like it when the movie deviates from the book! We also watched Grand Torino and Australia at home on blue ray. I liked both of these but I really enjoyed Clint!
  4. I listened to JFB on Youtube, check it out!
  5. I am stucak up here in Fort McMurray Alberta and we watched reservior dogs. I hadnt watched it for years. still a very cool movie
  6. I saw them in the early 90's opening for GnR and Metallica and they sucked large! Metallica and GnR were excellent. Playing your "Hit" song twice in your set is a killer for me IMO.
  7. I watched Religulous on DVD last night. If you are religious this movie will offend you..I enjoyed it. Loved the holy land theme park in Orlando.
  8. Metallica death magnetic from Itunes. It took 14 hours to download on my lightning fast dial up connection, but was worth the wait. If you like the band this is a great album
  9. I just finished Ken Follet's Pillars of the earth and world without end. Both are excellent. I am currently reading John Grisham's The appeal. and it is not very good...might not Finnish it. Not a lot of good coming out of the Grisham camp these days I'm afraid IMO.
  10. I have been lucky enough to see rush 7 times, starting in the late 70's. Nice to see the boys putting on such a long show now(usually about the two hour mark in the 80's) but with such a large catalogue you almost have to do three plus hours. I still like the older stuff more, 2112 hemispheres, a farewell to kings moving pictures.Definitely three very talented musicians!!
  11. Itunes...Led Zeppelin, For your life followed by Kashmir then no quarter.
  12. I saw THE WHO last month and they rocked!!! I saw them on their first farewell tour in 82 and I think the band sounded better now. I thought daultrys voice may have lost a step before the show but was I ever wrong! The man sounded amazing! Couldn't help but think that Led Zeppelin should be on the road though.
  13. Going to see the WHO in Hamilton on October 22..well whats left of the WHO
  14. Mr. Jones I seem to remember in the 1980s that when Led Zeppelin IV went diamond here in Canada that Q107 was saying that there was "one" special diamond edition album to be released for sale to one lucky album buyer. I believe that diamond album status in Canada at the time was one million copies sold. Do you have any information about this album and what was involved in this promotion? Thanks in advance.
  15. Read post 111 by evster 2012. End of discussion
  16. After reading this forum This HAS to be the answer...It just makes sense
  17. I heard Rock & Roll and The Rover at lunch today on Q107 in Toronto
  18. Jane Stevenson is a tough concert reviewer. I saw Genesis last year, it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. She gave it 3 stars. So I don't read her reviews anymore. A friend of mine has a boot of this show and it looks like it was a amazing show!
  19. I hope that if Jimmy has a look at some of these postings he has a good laugh
