  1. If i Remember correctly  Robert Plant was especially fond of the houses of the holy time period. And I can understand why! Just like he alluded to the fact that they had Already released the fourth album which had put them at the top of the world sO far ahead of whoevers number 2 as plant said in a interview  around then LMAO!!!

what was great was they had no issues with how to follow up the fourth release.  It was a time to take a look at their WORLD & feel it .They knew at that time exactly who they were & whatever will come next is (Hoth) just bursting out of them as they lay down new ideas ! Was more than just optimistic / was the feeling of their sum was larger than the Four and a “if you thought album 4was great “ “brace ya selves” !

Plant felt the force within the band ,they ALL DID !

& he was/they all were pushin without intimidation & musically as far as ideas & out put of material  obviously we know they had no problems as hoth  Was absolutely magical and soon tofollow was P graffiti a DOUBLE ALBUM that is My favorite but still the creativity fueled by such confidence on through Presence &  ITTOD still today takes my breath away!!!

i just cant imagine what they think of when they look over their sholders when they get together or even alone at nite, or just listening to a track alone !

they know it took each other to create what they did & even their manager & his freeing them up to do so , everything  played a part . Im sure they are quite humble !

As they will go down in history , taught in schools like Shakespeare  / Beethoven i am sure of this.

Im thankfull  that I am here  in the same  time line as such GIANTS Walked the Earth!

  2. IN EVERY PICTURE

PAGE looks like he is oozing

    THE HAMMER OF THE GODS!!!

These yrs with all the remasters & interviews its just been wonderfull to see & hear sO much Jimmy!!!

LIKE NEVER BEFORE , he was getting mass air time everyX i looked their he was ....... it was a big rush !!!

    very exciting times!

  3. Im down for it still.... anything with even a lil bit something new in it , footage etc! 👍🏼

Just cant get too excited to be let down !

but thats how i felt going to see Plant & Page ! They started with thankyou & my heart was was idk .... let down ,figured it is what it is I WILL still be happy even if it goes the rout it started with

but then it took off straight for the moon!!

everyone said it was their most favorite concert!!!  &  Drummer Michael Lee was amazing !

so if theirs ANY new footage

    im thirsty  for it !

Im just happy for a real update even!

  4. In Cincinnati they STILL DO get the Led OUT Weekdays at 10 PM

However WEBNs deep cuts are just so so & they NEVER do ANYTHING LIKE

👉🏼WTUE  104.7 IN DAYTON OHIO ! who we can catch pretty clearly somXs in cincy!

Dayton ROCK RADIO was ALWAYS ROCKIN  even WEEKNIGHTS  where webn would puss out after 1-2 fast songs & nowadays they ALL just repeat welcome to the jungle etc...&  same 4 pink floyd   Tunes Over & over &

    over&

    over🙄!

Like theirs an agenda of some sorts ! Im tellin you i heard sweet child o mine 7-8X one day between 3 Cincinnati stations straight ACROSS THE DIAL IN CINCINNATI!

    WTF?

Anyway WTUE DAYTON would pushthe 3 in a row to MORE & then shove ANY songs affiliated with zep for probably the rest of the hour!!

it was AWSOME !From the FIRM , to solo Plant to tribute covers from the Mainstream more current bands album computations of ZEP SONGS  ,to Bad Company who was on Zeps SWAN SONG label & throw out FUN Zep facts , Even things like Robert Plant sound bites mentioning WTUE!

Just  really made it a lot more fun !

THATS HOW I WOULD DO IT TOO!!!

most of Zeps deep cuts are worthy of much more air play!!

The official lyric is "the boy next door". That is how Robert sings it on Led Zeppelin III and the early title for the song was even called "The Boy Next Door", and was how it was introduced when they played it in concert for the first time at the Bath Festival, June 28, 1970.

I have roughly 50 bootlegs where the band plays "That's the Way" and Robert sings "the boy next door" on nearly every one EXCEPT for the last night at Earls Court on May 25, 1975, when Robert chose to sing "the girl next door". On the previous night, May 24, 1975, Robert sang "the boys next door". So maybe Robert was just getting goofy after five nights at Earls Court and wanted to switch things up a bit.

But the lyric of record will always be "the boy next door".

    HOW u been strider ?

Ah HA! Well ! He DID sing the GIRL next door then for sure!

but yea im aware officially on lll its BOY!

but Strider YOU are amazing , knowing the DATE of the ONLY version i heard once!

AND aware of the version of the PLURAL /male !

    thats GREAT INFORMATION

    thanks man

  6. BONEY M 👉🏼Anyone know alot about or familiar with them ?

Perhaps not alot of fans enjoy this type music on here & i need one who is VERY FAMILIAR with the what ? 9 words that make up the ENTIRE song!!!

How could i been sO wrong all these yrs

    im now hearing

    🎶“she believes in YOU”🎵

when ive CLEARLY HEARD a million Xs in the past

    🎶“she believes in HIM”🎵

    ANYONE?

  7. Actually i just noticed many Zep false Mandela effects could be cleared up by scrolling through the Zep trivia on this site.

Thats the guy with the answers Steve!

Sam too! Tough to get any false facts past them. I myself learn somthing new from just the members alone on here!

    Lol , that Jimmy 😄!

    the dude can lean !

He is known for how far he sometimes leans back while playing !

look at him here First picture

His head is THREE heads length away to the LEFT from  where his LEGS are to the ground below his feet lmao

    while standing there!

  9. Ok so this is a preemptive effort to anticipate & debunk from the authority of all that is the Mighty Led Zeppelin

    👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

    www.Ledzeppelin.com

First thing to Pop into my head is one that someone argued with me over

turned out we were BOTH WRONG or vice versa

    Zeppelin song: Thats the way

     lyric in Question

“My friend the BOY or GIRL next door”?

    answer:

(now correct me if im wrong  PLEASE)

    is actually BOTH ,

    Robert sung it :

    “the GIRL next door”

    THATS THE WAY

     he sung

    THATS THE WAY

    at least ONCE /LIVE!

    👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼

(Smh i think i did this whole thing so i could USE THAT DOUBLED up set of words like that🙄)

Im sure someone on here knows the exact show im referencing!🤔

I suppose Were gonna need that bit of information if it comes up , but will leave the date of THAT SHOW blank for now to leave a lil drama f 🤘🏼

    🤭(shhhh ! I forgot the date? )

actually he may sung it that way several times!?

  10. Id think the caliber of members & their vast Zep affiliated knowledge theirs no Such effect getting past our members!

Their are a few potentialy mistakable facts that someone might question however this is the Bands

    “OFFICIAL SITE”

    if the world thought a

LED ZEPPELIN MANDELA effect had emerged

👉🏼HERE is likely where the BANDS FACTS can confirmed👈🏼

    that being said

their WILL be some controversy along sooner or later so

i thought of one that surly someone who is not in the know would be swearing is a Zep Mandela effect

    (however it is NOT)

From Chris Welch's book, 'Peter Grant: The Man Who Led Zeppelin'

Peter Grant:  “I went down to the site unbeknown to Freddie Bannister and found out from the Meteorological Office what time the sun was setting. It was going down right behind the stage. By going on at sunset I was able to bring the stage lights up a bit at a time. And it was vital we went on stage at the right time. That’s why I made sure the previous band Flock, or whoever they were, got off on time.”

Among those who witnessed the traumatic scenes at the side of the stage was an openmouthed young reporter from Melody Maker. Chris Charlesworth, soon to become the paper’s news editor and later its American correspondent, would come to enjoy privileged access to the band and travel extensively with them across America. But his first taste of Zeppelin-mania took place deep in the heart of the Somerset countryside.

Says Charlesworth: “The first time I met Peter Grant was at the Bath Festival in 1970. I was hanging about backstage and there was an incident. The band were due on stage on Sunday night at 8
p.m. which Grant correctly assumed was the time when the sun would be going down behind them and would make a nice setting on stage. The trouble was the previous group were overrunning.
They were the American band Flock, led by a violinist called Jerry Goodman. When they came to the end of a song at about 8 p.m. they still had more songs to go – and an encore. So Grant led his team of roadies onto the stage and he started unplugging their equipment. ‘Hey, we haven’t finished yet man,’ said Flock’s crew. ‘Oh yes you fuckin’ have,’ shouted Peter. There was a stand-off between the two sides but Flock’s roadies took one look at Led Zep’s gang, led by Grant and Richard Cole, and decided there was no way they were gonna fight these guys. So Zeppelin came on a few minutes after 8 p.m. just as the sun was setting."

So looking at the sky re’ time of day , this sure doesnt seem like the sky described in the book to me !?

Seems earlier in the day ,

wheres the sun that was going down  & lights that should already been popping up one at a time ?

  12. Ummmm?

    Wait-a-sec

NOW im really confused🤔 ! Or im getting the shows & incidents mixed up.

If this the SAME bath festival as we heard about re’ Grant & crew pulling the plug on a band early  , Followed by

the  Famous vision in my head of the boys Rippin into their set with

    IMMIGRANT SONG

as the skys were just darkening for the evening & the lights were slowly comming on one at a time?

    then why or ?  Shouldnt

    “bring it on home”

& any other footage of the show have somewhat darker sky's in background ?

not concerned or questioning  the natural speed of the EARTHS spin that regulates the sun lite at that specific location , but according to my calculations

lets see here , multiplied by .... carry the 3......divided by  the speed of light.....

SHOULDNT  The sky be Getting dark ?

maybe its just an optical camara illusion but sure seems like

    total DAY TIME  to me!

maybe not a sunny ☀️ day ,but no indication of the

    Mighty Zep’s performance  with the

    “sun was going down backdrop”

    Just a few songs earlier.

am i even at the rite show ?

@ledzepfilm synced the audio of the show to this footage. What an incredible day for Zeppelin fans! :D

So is it the fact that ☝🏼Now reads

    “VIDEO UNAVAILABLE”

the chances are greater that we WILL really get something special & fresh from the  NEW documentary ?

What is the official reason why its now unavailable from YOU TUBE?

    Im assuming ITS  BEEN PULLED

or made unavailable for this reason ?

    so OMG !

    The “documentary”

    IS GOING TO BE GREAT!!!

This is part of an interview a wrestling manager did for Sports Illustrated magazine. His name is Paul Heyman of WWE.

On his favorite non-wrestling moment at Madison Square Garden: "I was a kid and I was a photographer and it's the moment I learned what being a rock star, which is what anyone who performs at MSG is in some way a frustrated rock star because we all want that moment when you're just standing there doing absolutely nothing and the crowd worships you like the God that you intend to be. And because I had a press pass for what was then WWWF. I got a press pass for Led Zeppelin. They came out for their second encore. They had held back Stairway to Heaven all night long. And when Robert Plant would ask the crowd what they wanted to hear ... that was the song people wanted to hear. So they came out for their second encore. And Jimmy Page stepped up, the lights went dark, they hit the spotlight on Page and he just hit the opening couple chords to Stairway to Heaven and the place erupted. Even as I'm telling you this now, I'm covered in goose bumps. It tingled my spine. And the place erupted in an explosion like the Knicks just won the championship. And Jimmy Page just stopped and looked up and had the most s**t-eating grin on his face and he knew he owned them. And for three or four minutes - but it seemed like an hour - they didn't play. They didn't sing. They just soaked in the enormity of the response and just stood there and let it come to them. And then they played the song. And at that moment, I just said to myself, "wow. that's what it's like. that's the moment everyone dreams about. That right there is what you work towards and for."

     Woe!  GREAT DISCRIPTION !

VERY NICE MOMENT INDEED  for all sides . THE MIGHTIEST band takes a moment to acknowledge what the fans are sending   & kinda almost  give the confirmation nod to each other that each of them are part of the team  & their still making the correct choices  .likely  NO 1 will ever forget that moment .

Nothing they took for granted obviously,

Its not an ego thing for them , its a humbling thing !

i bet the crowed noticed they were taking note & just  roard even louder making it clear of how much they loved their most favorite  band by far  !

Making a point to the band without hesitation, just pure understanding !

id love to been in that crowed , a magical moment indeed!

its hard to put it into words but the mutual feeling came across well id say!

Looks suspiciously like a repro to me....

    https://gotledblog.wordpress.com/the-presence-object/

    From the article:

    1) Originals: flat black paint. Repros: glossy or semi-gloss black paint.

That paint looks glossy to me.  There are visible reflections in it.

    2) Originals: very smooth sides and base; little or no imperfections. Repros: bulges and pits were prevalent, though not all that noticeable from a fair distance away; various flaws abound…brush marks from the paint, difficult to read etchings on the base, bulging top edge.

There are visible bulges, imperfections and brush marks in the photo, and the top edge is bulging too.

    3) Originals: underneath the thin coat of paint, a flesh color appears IF a scratch or chip is not very deep; if deep then white shows through. Repros: only a white color shows through if scratched or chipped.

Bit hard to tell from the photo, but the various chips look quite shallow, and white

I certainly wouldn't bid for it.

Gosh i still like it  though , id be down for a fake lol.

alot of  TOO many angles to figure out if i was to make one myself!

  16. I see , thanks  & i liked your last paragraph the most  & its understandable since it wasnt jimmy who actually played it.  & it is very well done , NO DOUBT ,

    i LOVE  the riff

And to be clear , im SURE they put ALOT OF TIME  & WORK into what they came up with

Back to your last paragraph , i liked or have no prob with it

    EXCEPT

for the general attitude part .

👉🏼the general attitude IS where i see page! if clapton or anyone else heard pagey tinkering , & made a point to remember what he herd

👉🏼would be 1 kinda how it went

AND 2 MAINLY the “general attitude.”

thats all that prob could be lifted if one was just trying to make a mental note for the moment untill one could break away & find a  better way to store it.

& Thats what i believe likely happened.

Jimmys would have been different in his own way & it WOULDNT been aiming for a love song  as they say theirs wasnt either,  but plant could have turned it into somthing bigger (and somehow STILL  put the word “LOVE “ in there haha hahaha only he could get away with it sounding like it fits)

. But i dont know how u could top likey the biggest love song ON EARTH!  Lol rite? Its truely amazing the way it is.  But ZEP would have Zeppified it like only Zep can.

Anyway ....still im sure they had a hard time getting that attitude to transfer

however  IT SURE came across well!

    ALOT of attitude!

& i dont feel that Very attitude was in them naturally .

    However THATS Pageys attitude

ALL THE WAY , why i feel its a Jimmy Page “type” composition overall

👉🏼 maybe is a better way for me to have made my initial accusation.👈🏼

thnx for helping me express what i really ment.

where in that clip does he do the Blast Off thingy?? I didn't see or hear it in that clip.  Also;  I hate the sound of Jimmy's guitar there. I think he's trying way to hard with the bar and the results are not to my liking.

Update scroll back to Feb 2016 in THIS THREAD, i posted a good example & a tip for what the camra man is got up on the screen rite when he starts to blastoff.

but camara man or the editor switches the camara view from the violin to jimmy within a second of the blastoff !

    LMK what u think

Hell no. He never had the speed again that he had in Europe 73. He was great in 1998 but no where near his peak in themid-70's. The little notes and riffs between the notes are what was missing in his later days.

Great way to break it down to something easy to understand for us wolfman,

re’ whats missing in the later yrs.

maybe one of us can post an example of 73 & a 98  for us to compare ?

    Or

Perhaps you have a good 73’ example in your head to reference us to ?

    Thnx again

Not sure Hbird69 , i prob need to start the reasearch all over again , because theirs likely more material outthere now , which means maybe more attempts by jimmy!?

wish some more of the members would post some attemps of the blastoff on this thread.

its still an amazing thing that after more than a decade he was still comming up with NEW things that just blew everyones mind .

& pushed that song to even further heights!

    SMH!
