Theirs alot to read , so i scrolled on down to AML. The writer Certainly has a few major facts wrong. Which makes me wonder what else he’s got wrong. Since this is kind of appears to Try to come off as some type of authoritative breakdown of their entire catalog, He should surely have those important well known facts correct. I haven’t read too much further than that but now he loses credibility regarding the whole article. Its written in a fashion to make himself sound like he’s better than some of the Members of the band. He sure thinks He’s something.......He does however acknowledge The greatness of the band Over most any other band. He credits timing and luck also barbaricness, Instead of more from their talents and musicianship. But that’s what I got Out of it from a quick glance, we will see ....

ONE MORE I FORGOT 1972? Not sure of the year for sure however, the live video supposedly doesnt match or is a separate show mashed up to the live performance , anyway Im referring to the great Plant vocal performance of: Immigrant Song on the Australian live video footage!

I know a lot of people think the same thing HOWEVER That was BEFORE this happened: LISTEN to this brother we caught his live show with the SSS Somewhere in Indiana I think a year or two ago . Allison was also on the bill but they did not play together, and the final show was Willie Nelson! I gota tellya I don’t think them willy Nelson fans we’re expecting what they experienced . They are real loyal fans of Willy kinda a family And I can tell they were just kinda eh! When Plant came out it was the loudest roar of the night so far and you could see eyes rolling etc. while they “sat” there because I don’t think they ever stand up for Willys laid-back show Ever ! they all sat there quietly listen to the other acts so far BUT plant was sO charming up there!!!! And the songs that they didn’t even know like the one called ??? Something like? , yea! “turn it up”. If you go listen to that song on the album and then think about how good it could possibly sound “live” . With the crowed joining in at the ah aAA ..... lil different But not unlike plants earlier SOLO song “slow dancer” yrs ago etc! Next thing you know everybody was standing up and NO 1 sat down for the rest of his performance! He gained so many new fans that night!!! I don’t know if he was trying to show off for Allison or just wanted to put the main attraction of the night in their place or what but He literally stole the show !!! Everybody was talking about how amazing they were , I know they didn’t like him before NOW we’re just blowed away!!! I assure you >>> U would have enjoyed how he presented that music & himself ! you would have been PROUD of him! (“AAW SO GOOD”!!!!! RP quote at the end of the song “the ocean”? )

Yea I agree “them poor drums “ , he’s sO fun to watch!!! Michael Lee was something amazing!! I never could take my eyes off him every time I watch a video!! More People need to check him out in action!!

After comparing BOTH “In the evenings” in my opinion the original mix with the harder to hear or Less understandable lyrics helps elavate that song to somthing far more than just “waiting on a no show “ to > something POUNDING DOWN from above to us mere mortals!!! like a Kashmir or maybey more like a “futuristic immigrant song” battle cry!

Well what really blew my mind regarding BONZO’s Playing was : watching him during the rehearsal for the Paris footage, it was part of a movie or something!! Up untill that youtube video many yrs ago I Always knew he was great but I just didn’t know really ANYTHING compared to after that moment!!! Then I really started watching him in all the past videos, Danish Good times bad times ,RAH omg! etc. amazing how intense he was AND it was just a rehearsal!! Lol

Those 2 notes that started it all !!!! sO powerful!! I love the intensity! I think I also will utilize those very same two notes for my ringtone!! Thanks for the idea

Michael Lee was something else I Telya just watch him live with page & plant , what a drummer !!!! Nothing against Jason , And he was great at the O2 but page and plant were both quoted saying “Michael Lee is the closest they’ve ever heard to Bonzo !!!”

Thats the BEST Ive ever heard it put!!! & I like to add that I LOVE in through the outdoor! It still had the Superior majesticness, magic HAMMER POWER that no band could say their own music was better than!!! This album also contains “in the evening” for god sake !!!! Like you said “unmatched musical genius!!!” ZEP’s ITOD was “still” sO far ahead of whoever was #2!!
