  1. Nothing. I'm a seriously cranky mofo on Mondays.
  2. Savages, a foursome from Blighty. Their single "Shut Up" is the freshest, most exciting new music I've heard in donkey's years. The voice is a little like Siouxsie, the bass is a little like Chris Squire. Writing and production is unpredictable, thank the Lord.
  3. Another article I read (I think it's on The Morning Call web site) seems to indicate that the liver failure was indeed connected to the spider bite. What a shame, he was young.
  4. The reunited UK - to be honest, didn't know anything about the band though of course I know who John Wetton and Terry Bozzio are. Bozzio is an absolute monster on the drums, his solo gave me chills. He was very subtle, it wasn't just bash city. Terribly impressed with Eddie Jobson too. His electric violin solo was incredibly violent - it reminded me of Lord Page whipping his Les Paul with a violin bow; the effect was similar.
  5. Chris Squire's solo album, Fish Out of Water. Said to be coming out in 5.1 soon.
  6. I was digging on the cable series "Vikings" on the History channel. Now it's ended and there is an interminable wait until 2014 for season 2. I really must get a life...
  7. The Neighbourhood's new album - their first one, I believe. I actually like a new band! It's a miracle.
  8. "Over the Hills and Far Away" by Frederick Delius. Had no idea this is where the Zeppelins got the title until today.
  9. What is this strange power he has, to take a twattish and ill-fitting garment and transform it into something cool, simply because he wears it? Hmmm.
  10. Woah! This is good news: two little Page guitarists on the way...
  11. Ha - haven't heard that ZZ Top song in eons. Forgot about it, really. They were funny.
  12. It was a tweet they did to wish JP happy birthday yesterday.
  13. He's still smokin' literally and metaphorically. Rock on, Lord Page! The happiest of birthdays to you, sir.
  14. Jimmy wasn't raised as a Catholic though. I've never understood that shirt. Anyway!! January 9th (or the 9th of January if you're British) is looming. How will ya'll celebrate Jimmy's birthday?
  15. Oh I'm glad you like the song! I always thought it had a slightly ominous vibe to it - in a wonderful way.
  16. Then you'll be "in between the Dark and the Light" to quote the Eagles (from "One of these Nights" - in case you're too young to know that song).
  17. Oh, I didn't know that. That does cheapen his remarks (which I loved). However, I'll always treasure the sight of JPJ, Robert & Pagey laughing heartily at Jack recounting the "sold their souls" rumor.
  18. Aen, thanks for sharing this new (to me) photo with us. I love and admire Jimmy for his mind, but a photo like this makes me stop and say, "PHWOAH" in appreciation of his beauty. Percy's Plant, I keep hoping you will cross over to the Dark (Lord's) side, but then I see your enthusiasm in the "Hot Pictures of Robert" thread and I know it will never happen.
  19. Dang, that is an absolutely gorgeous guitar. Can anyone make out the name on the headstock? Clarvini, Giarvini?? Google doesn't think much of either guess.
  20. He's the most opposite person to Robert that I could think of at the moment
  21. She's partial to Cliff Richard.
  22. Does JP ever take a bad picture? The guy is just too fine. Notice these "Hot" threads about Jimmy - there have been legion - go on for hundreds of pages. Whereas if you started a thread called "Unflattering Photos of Jimmy" it would die of loneliness. Surely he is the best-looking Englishman ever.
  23. Have fun, Bingo! You lucky thang. Has anyone seen a Zeppelin tribute act called Zoso? They've gotten good reviews from peeps on Ticketmaster. I may check them out.
  24. Lee, that thread on the Stones site is almost 40 pages long! Florence Welch was mighty impressive:
