  1. Original Vinyl over cd all day everyday. http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/question487.htm Because Cd's are 1's and 0's a ton of ambience is lost. If cd's weren't bad enough check out this article on MP3's; http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/177...ic_news_rssfeed
  2. I have a friend who's Wedding song was "Thank You". The DJ forgot to bring it to the hall. I had to drive home to get it for them. They would of had to pick a non Zeppelin song if I didn't. Lucky it was not a long haul.
  3. The Collector's Edition (the inside box) has a "Not authorized for sale or rental outside USA and Canada...direct violation written terms of trade...severe criminal penalties". The "Extra's" box (not the DVD) has a "For promotional use only. Not intended for individual resale." on the back of it. I don't know if it helps but I thought I would pass it on.
  4. I agree. I paid an arm and a leg to see Page/Plant-twice. I figured that was as close as I would get. I never saw Page solo but I have seen Plant solo many times. Seeing "the band" play would be like going to see The Who now. I didn't mind when Moon was gone, but now that the Ox is gone, it wouldn't be the same. I saw Roger Waters recently-took three guys to replace Gilmour but they pulled it off. I saw Van Halen with Roth recently also. Eddie's son played well, but Anthony was missed. Some work, and some don't. For the money you would have to pay, unless they form a new band and come out with
  5. I could buy a third one,and send it again. I'd just like the poster. I was hoping it would be easy.
  6. I put the check for the Collector's Edition TSRTS poster offer in with my electric bill, and they cashed it!! Anyone know how I can contact a live person to fix this? Thanks
  7. We are limited to ten. I like all but a few of the songs they play relentlessly on the radio day after day after day. Yes Stairway belongs there, So does Achilles Last Stand, Thank You, Kashmir, Since I've Been Loving You, Carouselambra, Whole Lotta Love, Black Country Woman, TSRTS, NFBM, HMMT, Sick Again, Fool in the Rain, Tea For One, Tangerine, and so on and so on. So adding those here's my top 25 (I think!!) The Rain Song Your Time is Gonna Come Down by the Seaside Hots On For Nowhere Ramble On I’m Gonna Crawl The Lemon Song Nobody’s Fault But Mine Ten Years Gone That's Th
  8. Hey, Got my hard cover Souvenir book in the mail today. A little ding in the corner but considering it traveled from Belgium to the U.S.A. east coast it's in good shape.
  9. Ten is not easy, but here goes; The Rain Song Your Time is Gonna Come Down by the Seaside Hots On For Nowhere Ramble On I’m Gonna Crawl The Lemon Song Nobody’s Fault But Mine Ten Years Gone That's The Way
  10. Someone explain these for me; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgTAekO8Zek...feature=related
  11. I remember hearing a "No Quarter" that was continued onto "Side B", but if solo's don't count...
  12. No no editing at all Check out this site. This guy spent some serious time breaking the whole thing down. http://www.thegardentapes.co.uk/ I like how the page starts out; "I love the live version of 'No Quarter', it blows the studio version away," a friend of mine said to me once, some time ago. "Which live version are you talking about?" I enquired. "The one from 'The Song Remains The Same', of course," said my friend, slightly bemused by this question. He's never been the type to go in for collecting bootleg recordings. "Oh, right," I said. "But which version, the fil
