  1. Can someone download the YT videos in the highest quality and send me the links? I spent hundreds$ on tickets but could not attend, as I recently had surgery and was too ill to attend.
  2. My health is deteriorating and I have been thinking about donating my collection of official releases. Mostly it is CDs and box sets of Floyd and Zeppelin that were bought sealed and only touched with gloves. These were my prized possessions. Most are long out of print. I have spent years trying to obtain several copies of official releases from USA, Japan, and EU. I would like these to be sent to the UK and stay in the UK. Is there a way to create some kind of small museum or something? I was wondering if there would be a way to donate these to the official archives of the bands. I know it might not mean much to some people, but these items meant a lot to me.
  3. Before "Conspiracy Theory" came out, not many people knew of the 3/14 San Diego show. Is it possible that they added other dates to the 1975 tour that we still don't know about?
  4. WILL HE EVER BRING THIS SHOW TO THE USA?
  5. That Trampled Underfoot is nothing compared to Pontiac 4/30.
  6. Does anyone have a soundboard recording of the live performances in 1985? It was performed a few times at least during July.
  7. Never liked that group. "Cadillac" is a great druggy sounding 1980s song, but that's about all I can tolerate. I was listening to "Someone to Love" recently, and it sounds more like a Tony Franklin showpiece than anything. His fretless bass overpowered that track to the point of taking over. It sounds like it was attacking him and he was fighting with it LOL. Page should have put more into that band but didn't. Those records appear to me to sound like incomplete projects that were meant to be more than that.
  8. Well AFAIK every single concert was recorded from the soundboard as with the other tours, except for the missing parts in between tape flips at the 45 minute marks during 1977. This was the first tour recorded using cassette tape, as opposed to reel. The EVSD folks only have access to AT BEST - 5/19/77, 5/31/77, and perhaps one more NYC concert. The others likely exist somewhere, but the person associated with EVSD clearly doesn't have access. They probably only have 5 more 1975 shows left. They only had ranges of dates anyway, the pattern is very obvious. As far as Tempe, I also would be interested in that. It's interesting and unique, even though it's considered a weak performance.
  9. 4/1/77 Dallas 4/30/77 Pontiac 5/19/77 Baton Rouge 5/31/77 Greensboro 6/22/77 LA
  10. Anyone have this on cassette? Every vinyl pressing I've had was very noisy.
  11. I can't believe its been this long. There was supposed to be a new record............Nothing. Also, I have questions about the following tracks: Mind Eraser (is that a slide guitar played by JPJ on the left or is that Homme?) Elephants (is that a mandolin played by JPJ on the intro or is it Homme?) Reptiles (besides bass, what other instruments are played by JP?) Gunman (besides bass, what other instruments are played by JP?)
  12. If anyone wants to sell these let me know. I'm looking for any prior to 1987. If for some reason you don't want to sell them, I'd pay to borrow them and return them with the high resolution DSD transfers.
  13. What I find weird is that this is not even the worst case of LZ plagiarism. The Lemon Song, SIBLY, and Nobody's Fault But Mine are much worse cases. Indeed, I find it even more weird that "...Levee..." gives credit to Memphis Minnie, when that song appears to be musically different and somewhat original (lyrics notwithstanding), yet those other 3 tracks I mentioned credit LZ only, when the melodies are very similar to the original songs. NFBM is credited to Page/Plant, when the melody is based note for note on the BWJ original song. TLS is the same story as there is nothing original about the melody. Why, then, are some tracks credited partially to others, and some are not?
  14. Steve, "Freedom Song" on JPJ's Thundertheif, refers to New York City as "just a few hours away". Did JPJ have a house "a few hours away" from NYC at that time? I would have thought he only lived in the UK.
  15. Steve, Did ANY of the band members ever have a twin sibling? Are any LZ parents still around?
  16. We can't prove this was not done live. It's possible they tried it once in 1973 but the recording is not circulating. Look how many early USA 1973 shows remain unheard. What about the possibility of a rare encore in 1973?
  17. The video would be interesting, but a soundboard source would be good enough as far as Pontiac is concerned.
