  1. Yeah what's up with that? Zeppelin always seemed to be on RS's bad side from the get go, not that anyone from band has ever cared.
  2. 1. Dazed and Confused 2. How Many More Times 3. Going to California 4. Four Sticks 5. Since I've Been Loving you 6. Whole lotta Love 7. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You 8. That's the Way 9. Kashmire 10. Ten Year's Gone 11 Over the Hills and Far Away 12. Fool in the Rain 13. I'm Gonna Crawl 14. Down by The Seaside 15 Stairway
  3. Check out this 1969 color/live version. The days when Plant's voice really brought the power. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=T12wRBAhcTY
  4. Hard for me to come up with a short list of very favorite Zeppelin songs, but "How Many More Times" would make that list. That is one wild tune.
  5. Apparently both Hendrix and Page are/were not the most/best technical guitarists, but their spirit and composition skills have been rarely matched. Haven't read much of Page's responses to Hendrix when he made his splash on the London scene in 1966, but do know people like Clapton, Beck, Townshend, McCartney were totally blown away and even intimidated from what they saw of Hendrix. Beck specifically said he thought he would have to change vocations after he first witnessed Hendrix.
  6. My favorite live version of Dazed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T12wRBAhcTY
  7. I see this board is not unlike others in that it has its share of rude, mindless dolts, but thanks go out to the thoughtful responses.
  8. Just joined this board and have a question. Was Plant's voice quality slightly better his early days vs the latter with Zeppelin? I think his voice was great during the latter days but IMO even better from say '68 to '73. No one sang harder than Plant and have wondered if his style maybe depleted his range a bit over the years. Thoughts?
