Great link and video. I used to listen to r&b quite a bit back in my "middle school" days and I have always liked Mary. I think it's cool that she would pick "Stairway to Heaven" to cover. That makes me like her even more. I can't wait to hear it!

I think I am the only person on earth who doesn't have a Facebook profile. I just don't like it. You can't get creative with it like you can with MySpace (I make my own layouts, graphics etc.). I did start a profile but after about 5 minutes, I was over it. I don't even think you can listen to music.

I am going on March 2nd. But Roger Daltrey is going to be with Eric. Can't wait!

So I picked up the March 2010 issue of Guitar World today and was I happy to see John Paul Jones on the cover (along with Dave Grohl & Josh Homme). So this is my new favorite magazine! What's funny is Guitar World is celebrating it's 30th Anniversary geez where have I been? lol I'm only 24.

I just wanted to say to everybody who has replied on this thread, thank you. You have helped me in so many ways. When I do get my guitar, I will let you know. You guys definitely know what your talking about! I know I may not seem like I am taking this seriously, but I truly am. I have a friend who is willing to give me some lessons as soon as I get my guitar. He's 75 years old, but he has played guitar for years and still does open mic nights! To me that's amazing! I also have a cousin who is willing to help. He's a drummer in his band, but he too plays guitar. I am so fortunate to have friends and family help me achieve my goal. And I appreciate you guys just as much. Thanks again!

I will most definitely take and follow your advice. I don't plan to get famous for playing the guitar, it has sort of been a passion for me to learn though. Kind of like a goal I have set for myself. And I will achieve it...

It's a good idea don't get me wrong, but I just can't see it happening. If you're thinking that this would be like a "Live-Aid" Concert, then you are dead wrong. It goes much deeper than that. I mean some people would be going there to rock out when sometimes you need to take life a little more serious. I know I am just rambling on, but I needed to say it.

LOL! Yah I just wanna prance around and play for my cat's! No but really since I don't know s-it about guitars, I draw the line at $300 for a guitar. I will probably wind up with a Squire or something.
