Oh hell yeah! I was born with Chevy/Drag Racing in my blood. I remember my dad starting his '56 Chevy Bel-Air and the whole house sounded like it was going to cave in! It's pure awesomeness!! I totally give credit to the guys and girls who race. I don't think I could handle the G-Force like they do.
I usually go to Mo-Kan or Tulsa Raceway Park. I prefer Mo-Kan b/c you can go to the pits and talk to the car owners. Major plus!
I don't know. Maybe he wasn't feeling too great. He put on a great show, but something wasn't right. I am anxious to see what kind of show he put on at Kansas City (that was the next stop) perhaps those people got their money's worth..
Hmm....Well I was wanting to hear some CREAM stuff but that didn't happen. When he was done he just walked off the stage and kind of left us hangin'. It sorta sucked. He didn't even tell us goodbye or anything. When I saw Fleetwood Mac, they gave about 4 encores and Mick Fleetwood's last words to us were, "I love you all". That didn't happen with Eric. But don't get me wrong, it was a great show. I guess Eric is just about playing and not talking.
Well went to the Eric Clapton/Roger Daltrey concert last night and got the following:
1 EC T-shirt- $35
1 Roger Daltrey T-shirt- $35
I EC Tour Program- $20
1 Roger Daltrey Keychain- $10
$100 well spent. Not including my 20oz Pepsi- $3.00
That's great that he is going on tour. I sure wish I could go be he will not be heading my direction anytime soon. Rats. I am pretty sure it will be amazing!
Roger played, "Who Are You", "My Generation", "I Can See for Miles", "Baba O'Riley" etc.
Eric Clapton played, "Rock N' Roll Heart", "Wonderful Tonight", "Cocaine", "Crossroads", "I Shot The Sheriff" etc.
So first of all, Roger Daltrey DOES still have a voice. I remember somebody saying something about that but I cannot remember where I saw it. He is amazing! His little mic twirl he does is just..... I told my friend sitting next to me that he has a special mic for that and my friend was blown away. lol! Then Mr. Clapton came out. He didn't look the greatest but he delivered nonetheless. His hair was pretty long and his glasses... Did I pay money to see Eric Clapton or Buddy Holly? Anyways, me and about 6 other people all had floor seats and it was amazing. I would do it again. Okay Led Zep Girl get to the pictures!!!
You know what? I was just on you tube about a few weeks ago and I was curious about abandoned drive-in movie theaters. Then that led to another abandoned place. I also checked out abandoned mental hospitals, walk-in movie theaters and like old McDonald's. That stuff is spooky. Oh yeah and abandoned malls and grocery stores. Nothing is as creepy as feeling empty. This thread is a coincidence for me.
[Titanic] The "sinking" of the Titanic.
[The Wizard of Oz] Dorothy getting her "ruby slippers".

Thanks for that link. Last year wasn't good for me. I didn't watch half of the races and I was so behind on who won what. This year I plan to be a bigger fan of the NHRA. I am so glad Larry Dixon won the first race. That's just cool to me! Anyways, thanks again...
I know this is sort of childish, but I have always had a thang for Mr. Leo...
And you cannot talk about gorgeous men without a picture of my future husband.. =]
Awesome! I actually saw Fleetwood Mac live last May. It was great! Yes Jefferson Airplane is the s-it!! I love Grace Slick! She has a totally amazing voice. You have great taste. I don't have anything on my ipod that isn't older than me.
That's awesome. Well, about the security thing. I hate to see drag strips abandoned, well anything abandoned. It's creepy and so empty. Not a good feelin'.
