Not sure where you're seeing anything about a new sample here. It's just an article about the liberation of the Levee and Black Dog samples.

    When it says >

According to Rapallo, here’s the full tracklist of the soundboard tape used for the recent bootleg release:

    • Rock And Roll
    • Sick Again
    • Over The Hills And Far Away
    • When The Levee Breaks
    • The Song Remains The Same
    • The Rain Song
    • Kashmir
    • The Wanton Song (cut)

OTHAFA is one there too. Just thought maybe this is them confirming there is a new source with all of this.

  2. I searched and hadn't seen this posted.

I have always had the knebworth bootleg's. I play along with WLL and Kashmir from night 2. However, they both cut in and out of AUD and SBD recordings. Which gets quite annoying.

Does anyone know of a complete SBD for both shows? Which ones are the best version?

    Thanks :)

  3. Steve,

The April 24th and 27th, 1969 (best version), intros to Killing Floor/Lemon Song have a fantastic guitar riff. I've seen it suggested that this is Muddy Water's Evil, or Smokestack Lightning...but I don't really hear the similarities. Any ideas where it comes from? And why would such a fantastic riff be dropped?...

Actually man, I asked this in a thread a while back because i was curious too. Did some research, Howlin' Wolf did a album in the 60's remaking his own songs. Giving them a pshycadelic fell to them. That riff is in the redone version of Smokestack Lightning. Now, i'm not sure if that is where Page got it from because back then riffs repeated so much, hard telling where it came from, but note for note, that's where i found it.

  4. I wonder why nothing has been officially released? I much preferred the 98' tour to the 95' simply because I thought Jimmy was performing at what I would call his second peak. I could not believe the shit he did on that tour, completely blew me away. His Tea for One was fantastic!

Tea For One was a part of the 95/96 tour, played on the Japan shows in 1996.
