So Robert Plant and band just played Del Mar, Ca. yesterday (Sunday) and Tuscon is next so the band has a couple of days off before playing here.

It was great but the place was not prepared to let people in. We were across the street at Marjerle's and that line didnt move for 90 min. We got in to the show 10 min till Percy went on and he was superb. Better than Dodge in 2005. We were thinking of going to the Vail show.

Wow, didn't even see this post until now, guess this thread is sort of hidden. Yeah, you're right about the place not being prepared to let people in, I was starting to get worried I was going to miss part of Percy's show, but I got in with enough time to get a shirt and get to my seat just as his show started. I agree with you that he was superb, better than the last two times (2010 and 2007), more energy this time. I was just really happy that we got a date here in Phoenix and really happy to have seen him again.

It escapes me now how many times he's been here in concert in the Phoenix area.
I think this could very well be the last time he ever comes to Phoenix, but as you said who knows how long he will go...looking forward to seeing him again this coming Monday!
Strictly speaking as a solo artist I've caught all his Phoenix concerts except 1990, and caught him in Vegas for the Dreamland tour.

Looking forward to seeing Robert Plant in Phoenix once again! It will have been just about seven and a half years since he last played here, last time was with The Band of Joy on July 20, 2010 at The Dodge Theater. I will be attending the concert with lpMan, and I believe we will be meeting up with Bozoso73 as well. I don't believe I have seen a concert at the Symphony Hall before but I have heard good things about it, should be excellent!
