I'd always thought his Nazi hat was an interesting look. Other than the poppy and dragon suits, I think his clothes were pretty ordinary. I love the way he dresses now, very, very classy, such an English gentleman. Although I have questions about this early outfit. LOL!

You sound like my son. We have many discussion regarding what you have said. I can't say I disagree, but I am trying to show him that there are the undergound bands, but he is stuck on his J-Rock, so whattya gonna do? I'm trying to get him to appreciate the blues or at least some blues/rock, but nothing yet.

I cannot believe I forgot about this. Although I love Stevie Wonder's version very much, this one is a jewel. -

Gavin DeGraw did the original "I Don't Wanna Be", but I love Bo Bice's version much better. -

Here is a few I really like: Stairway to Heaven – Led Zep … Our shadow is taller than our soul … Darker Side – Jonny Lang Look at the people, they learn how to lie so easy They learn how to lie to get what they need And after they got what they needed It turns into a simple case of greed Life is Hard – Johnny Winter I can't count the tears I cried Life is hard and then you die

busy91 replied to Starbreaker's topic in Musician's Corner
I prefer Fender 351 Standard Heavy But will use any heavy with a similar shape if i have to. Do not like Medium nor light. And I don't like the rounder picks. -

It is at the New York City Guitar School. I haven't taken this class yet, it is not offered all the time as he is the only one who teaches it. But he teaches it to adults as an elective. The kids program is diverse and I suppose when the kid turns 18 they can join the class if they wish. However, many of the kids know LZ songs are ready and at the shows, they play them, and very well. It is an advanced class so they learn several songs, I'm not sure which ones, but I know Stairway is on the list. And I think Going to Calif. Me and him talk about the songs in general and he mentioned

Personally growing up, I could never hear it enough on the radio. I didn't have a tape recorder to hold up to the radio and record. When I was a teen, I finally taped it off of the radio, and then when I was an older teen, I purchased the Album. So now that MP3s are here, I don't listen to the radio anymore, so it is something I'm not tired of. But I never was tired of it, never thought it was overplayed, and def don't think it is overrated. Loved it since the first time I heard it, way back in the stone age. LOL! Now I have to master playing it.

I only had one incident in college. It was in a humanities class, and I can't say she was a 'hater', but she was ignorant. It was a discussion on Satan and of course the backmasking (or whatever that is called) came up. Oy vey, people are really really ignorant. She just 'hated' in general I think.
