Way back in the early 80' my local station (KZEW) did an A TO Z marathon and advertised they would omit a few songs and promised a prize if you could name one. I won a small poster of the Knebworth pic of them in a field. The first song they played was 'All My Love' so it obviously was not difficult.

It looks like the colors are faded. Maybe the labels were left under a fluorescent light at the pressing plant. Not unique enough to warrant a separate listing, per Discogs guidelines.

Must be the name of the mastering engineer. Aspiring Bob Ludwig or George Peckham.

I live in Fort Worth and know several people who went to the May 1977 concert, and they all mentioned the band played Kashmir for a few minutes, and then Jimmy had a problem with his guitar so they switched it out or fixed it and started over again from the beginning. The entire tape has since surfaced and it didn't happen.

Yep, Phoenix and Toasted records were definitely made in Australia. You know it's against the law to lie about what country things are made in!

I would guess the pressing plant had a leftover label from a previous edition. Interesting to collector loonies but I doubt t affects the value.

Really hoping you get to interview Nick Anderson at some point...

Yes - they seem to have printed a lot of those Spunk labels as they have turned up on a bunch of non-Pistols records.

I suggest keep checking ebay. Make sure to modify the search to 'newly listed' first. Something you'll like will turn up in a week or two

There is a 90's era pressing of 'Houses' that plays Green Day on one side (https://www.discogs.com/release/7184799-Green-Day-Led-Zeppelin-Dookie-Houses-Of-The-Holy); apparently someone paid $1000 for it but that is definitely an outlier - the expected value for an error like this is maybe around $200.
I have picked up a couple over the years - another 'Houses' that plays Tonto's Expanding Headband on one side:
https://www.discogs.com/release/7767506-Led-Zeppelin-Houses-Of-The-Holy
And a Trini Lopez record that plays Led Zeppelin II on one side - https://www.discogs.com/release/5713503-Trini-Lopez-Led-Zeppelin-Greatest-Hits

Can you post a picture of the sticker?

I will have to go through my copies to see how rare this must be. I don't think it's unusual enough to increase the value. Also, someone could separate the two halves and re-glue them backwards.

Hi, any help would be great. I have a Led Zeppelin 4 and the picture of "the Hermit" is backwards on the inside. Does anybody have any idea what it would be worth with this kind of misprint? Thanks
Can you post a pic?

There is a seller that has one of these with the obi: Led Zeppelin - House Of The Holy (Vinyl, France, 1973) For Sale | Discogs

This is likely a recently-manufactured fake.

Have to agree regarding the Chambers Brothers. The single edit is perfect.

At least a hundred (I will buy it for that), but it's hard to gauge. I have a US copy of Houses where one side is Tonto's Expanding Headband: https://www.discogs.com/Led-Zeppelin-Houses-Of-The-Holy/release/7767506 .
I also have a German Trini Lopez album with one side that plays Led Zeppelin II: https://www.discogs.com/Trini-Lopez-Led-Zeppelin-Greatest-Hits/release/5713503 .
Unfortunately I don't remember how much I paid for either, but probably right around $100.

Stupid question, but how could you tell a fake ? A while back I bought the black 77’ shirt, a Hanes shirt, I’ve washed it at east 5-6 times. Usually bad counterfeit clothes don’t even have the right “cut”. and get holes and start to fade quickly..
Easiest way to tell is the tag. The first reproductions of the shirt came around the late 80's (I think). and the design on the front was significantly larger than on the original. Also some had tour dates on the back, while the OGs were blank. This site has a bit of information: https://www.defunkd.com/blog/2010/02/16/hanes/

Wow - the demand was certainly there. Just more BS reckon, - a hang over from 2020 I suppose... Sad.
I suspect the demand wasn't there - they were asking $20 for a copy of a record that can easily be found for $10-15.

In this pic, you can see the catalog # is SS2 201, and the tiny number on the bottom starts with ST and ends in PR. I assume ST stands for Stereo. The PR tells you the specific pressing plant (Presswell)
that manufactured the record. Some companies don't specify that on the label but do in the run-out etching in the vinyl between the playing surface and the label itself, usually with little symbols. The CRC on the left side refers to Columbia Record Club, which is a mail-order only club here in the USA.

If it's just the wrong label, there is not much of a value boost; maybe $10-15 more than the usual going rate
