  1. If you have time, could you please post that pic Steve? Sounds interesting.
  2. Hi Steve, Sorry to ask such a negative question, but I was reading how Jimmy was arrested in 1984 for cocaine possession I knew about this for a long time, but the article mentioned it was his second time arrested. When was the first time and what was it for? Also, was his mugshot(s) ever released? On a side note, thank God he didn't do any jail time. Jimmy is obviously a good man with a few minor flaws (like all of us). He's done a lot for charity and since he wasn't hurting anyone but himself, he didn't need prison. Glad the judge felt the same way.
  3. Looks like "Bitch" is back on the setlist. Love that song!
  4. What song is Jimmy playing with that big acoustic guitar?
  5. I know Bonzo was a huge fan of Stewart Copeland of the Police.
  6. Looks like I'm not the only one that feels they overpriced themselves.... http://ultimateclassicrock.com/rolling-stones-slow-ticket-sales/ I'm glad this is happening because if they were successful at selling out all their shows at these high prices, other artists would have followed suit. Greedy buggers!
  7. Awesome they played this, but why couldn't have they done it at the PPV show I went to? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
  8. So they charge $500 in large arenas but only $20 in a small club? That makes no sense.
  9. I went to the PPV show in Dec and paid $300 face for a really good seat. Why the fuck do they have to charge $150 more? Ridiculous and btw, Mick Taylor only plays one song, Midnight Rambler. Damn shame because he's way better than Keith.
  10. Sorry, but the Stones are being a bunch of greedy pricks. It was one thing this winter when they did a handful of special shows, but to do a national tour and expect over $450 for a good seat (or higher) is completely lame. Hell, nose bleeds are around $150 (which most artists charge for the good seats). The worst part is that they will sell all these shows out and other artists will starting charging higher prices too. F the Stones!
  11. Hey Steve, my older friend swears that at some point in the 70's that a Zep/ Bad Company tour was announced. Obviously, it didn't happen and as I tried to explain to him, that Zep hardly had opening bands unless it was a festival. He said it was all over the radio. This was never considered, right? Speaking of BC, did Peter Grant go on the road with them when they toured and if so, was there ever any conflicts because Zep might be touring at the same time?
  12. Love Jimmy's tone here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEOUG8Au9FQ
  13. http://ultimateclassicrock.com/coverdale-page/ After watching the video, I forgot Jimmy plays the harp in "Pride & Joy". He rocks it!
  14. Great band live and they are pretty hot too (esp. the bassist ).
  15. I love the Dead. I saw the Garcia-version 9x and they were some of the best shows I have ever seen. They are dfferent than Zep but stlll an amazing band.
  16. I usually dig most of Benassi's stuff but that was awful.
  17. I had a lot of fun. There are a lot of "mellow" songs and a lot of rocking ones. PG seems to have a blast too. He definitely likes to dance around. There were some cool visuals too.
