  1. A man walks into his psychiatrist's office wrapped in nothing but cellophane. The shrink looks at him and says "I clearly can see your nuts!" Funnier when you say it out loud.
  2. In The Lincoln Lawyer, there is a scene where a surfboard lying against the wall has the JPJ symbol on it.
  3. He's on the top of my bucket list but I'm afraid he will never tour again (since he had a heart attack on his last tour in 2004). Sigh.
  4. Offenburg, Germany on 3/24/73 is pretty damn good.
  5. I will go with the 27th to hear D&C.
  6. I saw them in Alabama on the tour with the Cult. They did a Black Dog and it ended with Jason doing a quick drum solo (including the Moby Dick drum beat intro)
  7. Very strange that Kool and The Gang are the opening act for most of this tour (including Philly)
  8. I stepped on a dead baby rabbit. Made me very sad, plus it stank.
  9. Huge fan. I've seen him twice this year. Loved both shows. So much fun live!
  10. On a side note, the Spectrum was torn down this week to make way for a shopping center. Sad!!!
  11. What I found ironic is how he ripped the boys for doing the O2 Reunion show yet he did that "reunion tour" with the Cars.
  12. Just got back from the show at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ (11/3/10). What a blast. The band is excellent and JB was spot-on as usual. Don't miss the video that starts the second set. I think it was the highlight of the show. The singer (who imo looks like Anton LeVey) sounds a lot like Robert and the guitarist plays and dances around like Jimmy. Lots of fun seeing my fellow Zep freaks there. Crowd really got into it during the second set. Setlist seemed to change a little bit tonight: Rock and Roll Celebration Day Bring It On Home>Black Dog Your Time is Gonna Come Babe I'm Gonna Leave You Dazed and Confused What Is And What Should Never Be The Lemon Song Thank You Moby Dick Act II: Good Times, Bad Times How Many More Times Since I've Been Loving You When the Levee Breaks The Ocean Over the Hills and Far Away I'm Gonna Crawl Stairway to Heaven Kashmir Encore: Whole Lotta Love
  13. Any rumors of the Atlanta 73 shows being recorded? They had the closed-circuit screens going as well.
  14. I was there.... What a cool show! I've never seen Alice live and being a big horror movie fan made this concert even cooler. Lots of nasty sideshows and blood: Alice gets decapitated, Alice gets hung by a girl he earlier strangled behind a screen (through silhouettes), he is put in straight jacket, he impaled one his many stage executioners with a large spike, his executioners impaled him with a large syringe during "Poison", during "Feed My Frankenstein" a large green monster (a hairy version of the cyclops from Jason and the Argonauts) came out with the Bride of Frankenstein, he threw fake jewelry out during "Dirty Diamonds", threw out several canes, threw out fake $100 bills with Alice's face on them from the sharp sword he carried, used that sword to cut off a baby's head and popped large confetti filled balloons at end, was also impaled by a wall of spikes, had a sexy nurse do a striptease, he sang to a dead woman while he held her in his arms and proceeded to bodyslam her, and much more I'm forgetting. But the show is NOT all about gimmicks because the band is awesome. Led by the very talented Keri Kelli on lead guitar, the band also consists of Jimmy Degrasso on drums, Chuck Garric on bass (AWESOME), and Damon Johnson on guitar. Alice's band can jam and all took turns doing some nice solos. I met Keri after the show while eating at the H.O.B. and he was a very friendly guy. I must note he also had a very large Swan Song logo on the back of his jean jacket vest. Alice's voice sounded great and he obviously has lots of fun doing this stuff. How could you not? It was Halloween with great music. It might my first Alice but not my last. Btw, I think the coolest job in the world would be paid to "kill" Alice on stage every night. Keri told me some of these guys have been with Alice for over thirty years. Can't blame them. 15. "Could I take guitar lessons from you? PLEASE!!!"
  16. Steve, do you any clue what the plans were for the '77 Philly show that was going to be filmed (before it was cancelled due to Karac's death)? Was it going to be a filmed concert or an actual movie like TSRTS? Damn shame it didn't happen.
  17. The only Zep track I don't dig is Hats Off To (Roy) Harper. I don't hate it but I think it's a waste of space. HHWCID should have been there instead. I've also heard DM to the point that I've lost all love for it.
