My question is this. Was there any film in those video cameras on stage? Now that would be a find.

I was at the Meadowlands show. Awesome night!

Looks more like Frank Zappa. Lol.

He'd be the one complaining about the bootleg falafel.
Bwhahahaha!

On AEW Wrestling last night, Jimmy Page was mentioned in a funny way. Go to 4:13 or so to see.

I still want to see a still or clip of Peter Grant as an extra in "Cleopatra" (1963).

Steve, did the band have an official announcer/DJ for the 1975 Tour? It seems like before the band hits the stage, the same man announces "Ladies and Gentlemen, the American return of Led Zeppelin!" Maybe I am off but it sounds like the same person for different locations. Thoughts?

I graduated from Alabama in 1994. Everytime I was in that arena, all I could think about is how Zeppelin played there. So wish a boot would come out. Roll Tide!

Jeff Beck Tribute show in May at RAH. Doubtful it happens though.

At this point, I would not want to them to do a tour. The O2 was a perfect conclusion. The band members are almost 80 years old now. No thanks!
P.S. Plus, OP sounds like he full of shite!

A good friend of mine is into sports cards. He had mentioned there were Zeppelin cards made by the famous Panini sports card company back in the early 70's. He bought me one. They are big cards that are actually stickers. The other one he kept is the famous pic in front of the Starship. So damn cool. Thanks Dan!

Too cool. Going to listen to this tomorrow. Thanks!

As one of the previous posters noticed, obviously a reel to reel Nagra deck was also running. The visual evidence is the clapper board in the backstage footage essential to sync the audio during editing .
Does this mean at some point they could sync it all together? I would pay top dollar to see this with sound.

Why is there no sound?

From a recent LA Times interview:
"I’ve always felt there was a real potential for something explosive and nuts with the Who and Led Zeppelin. The principals in Led Zeppelin are much more musicians than they’re perceived to be by the heavy-metal fans who just think it’s about heavy s—."
That's about as much of a compliment as you could get from Salty Pete. Lol.

It's obviously Robert who is against these releases. I don't see JPJ being against these. This is the first time I am upset with RP if it's true. I have always respected his decision against a reunion tour, etc because I felt he did not owe us anything. That said, for people like me who are obsessed with the band, we always want more releases. These shows would be so awesome to hear. Damn shame.

60's were Beatles; the 70's were Zeppelin.

I remember it, it finished with an excerpt of Stairway to Heaven from TSRTS, not as an example of blues, but showing how far bands that had grown out the blues had gone.I can't find it anywhere!!
Exactly.

Thanks, Sam. I’m going to see them in Atlanta. Do you know when tickets go on sale? Nothing is listed yet on sites. Trying to get pre-sales before scalpers. Thx.
R😎
In Philly, it's Nov.29 for the pre-sale. I received an email and signed up for the password.

Rolling Stones vs. Led Zeppelin- year to year, who wins out?

Stones have some boring songs where Zep have none. Plus, Zep concerts were more exciting than the Stones live. Love both but Zep for the win!
