  1. It's a sad state considering how talented these guys are right now...I know everyone says "this ain't GNR" but to me they are even more talented than the sunset strip boys of the 80"s. I am eagerly awaiting the sequel to Chines Democracy as I loved that album and love all GnR albums.
  2. How about the Eddie Edwards version? I know ur on Guitars 101 and everything on that site with Offenburg is dead Also all of ZepMasters links are dead as well...That guy is amazing. Not saying you aren't John, cuz you most definitely are awesome!
  3. If someone can pm the Winston Remaster id really appreciate...the links on the site i use have expired.
  4. I have never found offenburg...can someone post it here or pm me please...Id really appreciate that very much. The only 73 Europe tour show i have is vienna.
  5. You must have the patience of a Saint to sit through what I call Noise...I'm not making fun of you...I actually envy you! . Right now tho I am listening to the second show Cleveland...pretty good audience taper on this on eh. I find I can appreciate more and more now that I've acquired so many different boots. It's always interesting to hear something new these days
  6. http://bron-y-aur--stomp.blogspot.com/search/label/1979%20Led%20Zeppelin Go to Stevenage england WR....WR is winston remaster...Hes a famous led zep boot re-master guy. Its quite simply the best version of the 1979-08-04 show ever.
  7. I'm waiting for a Knebworth quality matrix of one of those Sdb's. I used to never listen to Knebworth boots until i found the Winston matrix.
  8. Man those 77 boards always make Bonham sound like a tin can and Jimmy sound like hes using a fisher price guitar. I honestly almost never listen to them anymore....and i own em all lol. No quarter always one reason to listen to them at least. Can't justify a sit through of a whole soundboard ever tho.
  9. I was listening to this the other day and to me the keyboard intro sounds a bit off. Not like the album or 70s live versions at all.
  10. Hi Deborah can you send me the same thing...It looks like I'm missing something very interesting.
  11. Im listening to the new MSG 1977 sbd that surfaced today or yesterday. The acoustic set is awesome!
  12. Yeah i have the Millard recording of the 23rd. I love keith moons cursing lol.
  13. 23rd LA would be kool. But yeah i figured as much seeing as that is one of the worst performances from the band iv ever heard.
  14. Hey guys im wondering is the seattle 77 pro shot any good? cuz i want a 77 video and i dont have 1.
  15. Henrik i realize that if collectors didnt buy cds that we wouldnt have them shared for free online. I have nothing against collecting bootlegs. I just said that if your going to do it be smart. Dont spend 300$ on a 6cd tarantura set or watever. Its never worth it. Those people are posting their stuff for free because they want people to have it for free. They dont want anyone to spend that amount of money on music. Collector Loser call them watever u want....I still win.
  16. Oh and Weedwacker is completely right. Never believe people on forums like these who brag about their so called zeppelin collection...I mean even if they have half of what they are talking about it still makes them a loser for spending thousands of dollars on bootlegs that anyone with half a brain can get for free online. I for one wouldnt spend hard earned money on half the boots i own...and i own some great boots.
  17. OKay kids get this straight! there is no greater zeppelin collector than Page himself. He was the leader, guitarist and producer of the band. He avidly collects every live document of the band by going around the world in bootleg shops. I personally have no doubt in my mind that if Zeppelin was recorded on any night by any "professionals" that he definitely has it. He is that kind of man. So stop speculating whether they exist or not. If they exist they are either in circulation among the rapid bootleg community or in his hands. There is no Secret Council of bootlegers keeping them to themselves. That is absurd people. If it exists the major labels get there hands on it before any hoarding idiot.
  18. Could be. From what iv heard, all the stuff that has been released is because a few had the balls to break into pages house and steal footage and soundboards.
  19. Well that's a good question. The answer is yes many concerts were professionally filmed for the band so they could be released possibly in the future. . The royal Albert hall show on the DVD is exactly that. They did the same thing for the Osaka japan gigs in 71 i believe. Although with those shows page was greatly displeased with the results so he trashed them. 1 more thing. Never forget that the band hated the television as a music medium because of the poor sound quality and Tv is all what most people had in the 70s. They definitely knew they were an amazing band. In fact in their minds they were the greatest band in the world. IMo they were and still are. But anyway with that came the attitude, the perfectionism and the overindulgence. These are imo the worst traits of the band. The one most affected by the rock star success was and still is Percy. He has stopped so many zeppelin releases. Heres something many of you may or may not know yet. In the following years after bonhams death Page and plant were fighting over a massive zeppelin chronological live album release spanning their entire career. Why? well one can only guess. These guys look at themselves as gods among the music business now im sure and they have the right. But that is not necessarily a good thing now is it.
