  1. Here is the breakdown of the 198 male reviews: Must Go: 138 Go: 43 So-so: 11 No: 4 Oh no!: 2
  2. Right, I'm agreeing with you, I don't think it's a chick flick at all, and when I went it was mostly couples also.
  3. the movie site Fandango.com has user reviews from people who've seen it. There are 248 reviews by women, and 198 by men. So that's a 55/45 split.
  4. No, it's a good movie that's hugely critically acclaimed, Oscar nominated, and as you can see from the box-office totals, very popular with the public at large. If the people love it, critics love it, and the Academy loves it, that generally equals $$. No need to elaborate Spats, we know how you feel about the movie.
  5. 1968-1972 is where it's at, there's obviously some good material outside of those years, but that 5 year stretch is incredible.

I could come out with my clippers and hook you up Ev, I haven't paid for a haircut in over 10 years! Then again, you probably haven't either...
  7. Some cool pics on rollingstone.com of the Stones' 1969 tour... I like this one of Mick with Chuck Berry
  8. Manders, great pics, it's beautiful country there!
  9. He's 4 months old, there are plenty more pics of him in this thread http://forums.ledzeppelin.com//index.php?s...=2538&st=60
  10. Here's a new one of me and the little guy... And my wife, and Lil Matt with a funny look on his face!
  11. ^ It's clearly a doctored photo, look closely!
  12. Wow, Maureen you are quite beautiful!
  13. This conversation truly encapsulates what makes Spats so Spatsy. Here we have a widely loved movie, one that Roger Ebert calls the best of 2007. In his review Ebert talks about how we come to care about and love these characters, how everyone gives great performances, and how Ellen Page will likely get an Oscar nomination. We grow to like and care about these characters, and the movie ends on a high note, with everything working out positively for everyone. And Spats comes away from it hating Juno, thinking all the men are potrayed as jerks and wimps, and thinking the script is anti-male. As with everything else Spats ever has talked about, he COMPLETELY misses the point and has a COMPLETELY different way of seeing it than the whole rest of the world. *SIGH*
  14. Seeing the world through your eyes would be a very interesting experience, Spats...to see the world the way NO ONE else sees it. (that's a nice way of saying you're an idiot)
  15. ^ Right, because if she was cool she wouldn't ask him to do such a thing.
  16. So because he was nice to the MOTHER OF HIS CHILD, and didn't tell the girl he got pregnant to take a hike when she got hormonal on him, he didn't have balls huh? Like I said, you're an idiot.
  17. Well, let's see, Michael Cera was portrayed as a good guy, and he got Juno in the end because he appreciated her, as her dad said "for exactly who she is", and she dug him for who he was. It all worked out. How can you think he was portrayed badly? And yes, Jason Bateman wasn't ready for kids and left his wife. Does that make the whole movie "anti-male"? Hardly, you're being paranoid.
