  1. I was called Tinkerbell for a long time from my Mom and independent from this during my apprenticeship from a collegue.

Well, the name always bounced back to me from different people and so I kept it. It's somehow strange because Tinkerbell was and is still my fav figur from Peter Pan.

Tinkerbell is a fairy and means a lot for me. I'm walking on the old shaman pathes and when I'm on a journey one of the Devas providing protection is also named Tinkerbell.

My motorbike has also a fairy name which came to me when I saw her the very first time. Seems to be an old tradition in my family!

    Merin Sa and cheers!

  2. Hi all,

    She is 67!

.... and had a great facial surgeon, a phantastic make up artist and a splendid photoshop postproduction profi for the finish!

I would like to be able to afford all of those means in the previous anti aging era as well! So, let's hope that there will be a back-to-the-roots era in 20 years!

  3. Haha! Yes indeed. We have some great countryside here, so much beauty. I went to Bronte country not so long back, took a long walk and sat on the same rock that the Bronte sisters would walk to. Brilliant scenery, peaceful and inspiring.

And the red eys are damned annoying sometimes. They scare the girls away.

Here is a good advice from a bunch of hairy men from Texas: Cheap Sunglasses! B)

.... and pet the good old Bronte rock for me ..... ;)

  4. Hey nice pics nice bike, is that a softail what year? I have an 03 1200 custom.

We'll have to start a Harley Thread B)

It's a 2008 softtail - the brand new Rocker on her roadshow across Europe!

I like her but at home we have the 08/1200 Nightster! She is a Sporti but no custom style and my true favourite amongst all her sisters. She is vivid black (what else?) - and I think she would be pretty angry watching me flirting with the Rocker!

Yeah, a Harley thread would be really funny! I'm going to think about it!

    KEEP THE MOTOR RUNNING!

  5. Wow!! Is this near where you live? I might have to take you up on that offer to come and visit. Great pics!

We stayed several months in New Zealand and unfortunately we couldn't take the horses home. Poor darling Rich, you have to fly a couple of hours, I fear!

It's pretty more comfortable to stroll around in the most beautiful landscape right in front your doorstep (we have an awesome countrysite here at home, too but ... you know I envy you for being near the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, Wuthering Heights and all this kind of stuff ... Guess, it's the same thing as whishing to have blue eyes instead of red ones... :P ) !!

But you are always welcome for taking a walk on the wildside in Bavaria - at least you'll stay deep redeyed with our beer!

  6. Wow! Amazing photos Tinkerbell...I remember, with great fondest, travellin' the country roads on various 2-wheeled models! Those times are amongst my happiest memories :)

Hey, nice to meet you here again, MissHoneydripper!

I'm looking forward travelling around Yorkshire on wheels! Unfortunately there are a couple of other priorities on the list this year and we can't do this in 2008. I'm fond of the Dales and various other countrysites in England - I'm going to give you a call if we finally are on our way!

..... holding reins or shifting gears doesn't really matter.

But being outside in nature with any mount is essential for our life!

  9. Cactus - The Pixies. B) As ever one of my favours!

Sitting here wishing on a cement floor

Just wishing that I had just something you wore

I put it on when I go lonely

Will you take off your dress and send it to me?

I miss your kissin' and I miss your head

And a letter in your writing doesn't mean you're not dead

Run outside in the desert heat

Make your dress all wet and send it to me

I miss your soup and I miss your bread

And a letter in your writing doesn't mean you're not dead

So spill your breakfast and drip your wine

Just wear that dress when you dine

Sitting here wishing on a cement floor

Just wishing that I had just something you wore

Bloody your hands on a cactus tree

Wipe it on your dress and send it to me

Sitting here wishing on a cement floor

Just wishing that I had just something you wore
