  1. I bet Kate's a bit cool poopin' in the nude ! gl
  2. One thing's for sure, no amount of light shed would help the frigid understand.
  3. She sounds like a sweet Southern Belle. Fleeing the repressive South at 15, to spread her wings in New York City. Seems to be the place to go to be all you can be. Any of you other NY'ers here concur ?
  4. And the gay males too. Afterall, they had been liberated by '69 hadn't they ?
  5. Yeah...I'd have to say I had the time of my life in the 90s. I was constantly on the move, experiencing so much adventure and engagements. Actually my life has always been that way, but just moreso in that decade. OH wait...the 2000's...no the 70s....nope had to be the 80s....damn, I can't make up my mind. Well, there's been a few stumbling blocks along the way, but overall it's been a grand time ! The downtimes give the best times more sweetness, and also gives one great perspective.
  6. We've got a great radio station out here where I am...yes and it's terrestrial !! Actually, the best I've ever heard in my lifetime. Too bad other's don't have it, but they can listen online, http://www.krcl.org
  7. I can't stand how our dictionary and word meanings have changed over time. The word conservative used to mean just that. Conservatives sure are liberal with their exploitation of things that can destroy quality of life, worldwide. Let's see, what would the word nature mean to them ? manmade, synthesized....manipulated ? We can't control nature, but these words above give crumbling power to those who think they can. It's about domination, OVERcoming natural phenomena, CONTROL. IT ain't gonna happen. Humility isn't a trait amongst these types. FULL BORE ON THE PEDAL !!! In spite....yes IN SPITE of it all ! Air, Fire, Water and Earth, all contaminated because of the boorish, power hungry conservatives who defile nature. Earth gets her's in the end and will be here long after the human race is decimated. It's not China that's the Sleeping Giant.
  8. Yeah...but I bet it was a small price to pay to blast out of earths orbit !! Hundred's of thousands just to ride the shuttle, and that's IF and WHEN they allow passengers. You're OK redrum, no apparent damage that I can see.
  9. Certainly for those faceless 50 heroes and many others close to the radioactive zone. Yep, NOT a good thing to be around such places. When the shit started hitting the fan, I said the only people who'd go near that place were idiots. DEAD idiots at that. What's the point in trading one life for another ? Dead Hero. Nice ring to it.
  10. So The Bear dies in a car wreck. Survived all those years of taking acid, with his mental faculties intact. LSD consumers, manufacturer's and promoters are vilified, scorned, ostracized, persecuted, prosecuted and considered by some, the dregs of society. Auto manufacturers are praised, given government bail-outs, and are among the most important of all manmade consumables. Arguably so was LSD. Sure, some people died of their LSD adventures, but a whole lot more.....ratio wise, have died as the result of car accidents. Crazy world ain't it ? gl
  11. Ironically I just found a Japanese pressing of this at the second hand cd shop nearby, It's the first Dead cd I've gotten outside of the boxset that left off just before this was released.
  12. Oh geezz.... better head for the hills, I hope this isn't the next picture,
  13. Get your cash together, it's a once in a lifetime offering, 6 days to go !!!!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/...em=170614261047 gl
  14. Spock......"Commode-Or Decker, I hope your bowel movement is proceeding at wipe speed !!" Butt then.... Spock !! Spock !!!! Get me an enima !!!!!!!! gl
  15. ^ I wonder if what Kirk left behind resembled the 'Doomsday Machine'.
  16. Didja see that southern Japan just had a volcanic eruption ? http://www.latimes.c...story?track=rss
  17. It's fitting that it was a sperm whale. I wonder if Moby Dick rammed 'er in the rear ?
  18. When I first saw the tsunami on the TV I said to my landlord, there'll be at least 10,000 dead. I think I've underguessed. Now's a good time to plan a benefit Jimmy. Practice up those chops ! What more benevolent way to help the Japanese ?
  19. It's hard for me to fathom that they're getting $ more per ticket than Jeff Beck.
  20. More like.... Didn't even have to fake the name !
  21. Well it's good that things have apparently changed since 2005, the last time I went to a concert event in a casino, but then they had the venue surrounded IN THE OPEN with machines and tables etc...for those who wanted to smoke. There was NO barrier and the smoke just wafted everywhere. I said NEVER AGAIN. By the way, that concert was at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut where Robert and the BOJ recently played, I believe. As I'd said in an earlier post, hopefully smarter heads have prevailed and that venue is truly smoke-free. ONLY if they totally isolate smokers in an airtight place or completely ban smoking on the grounds, even OUTSIDE, will there be no smoke. Places that allow it outside invariably have the smokers stand very close to the doorway and each time the door opens, in comes a huge cloud of smoke. Lots of casino's don't even close their doors, so it's not in waves, but a constant flow. Smoking is an activity and habit that needs to be COMPLETELY private and NEVER imposed on anyone, anyplace. We've got legislation criminalizing smoking in a vehicle with children present. And yeah, that should extend to homes. It's pure child abuse. And adult too. Why should it just be the children that the law protects ? The tide is rolling in on the smokers everywhere, Europe included, and will eventually seclude the pariah that it is. There are many areas here where I live it's even prohibited OUTSIDE. Like parks etc....
  22. You wanna go with me ? Santa Salta Laka also incorporates Sugarhouse. Oh...and btw...HI Lakey !! Maybe this thread will bring out some old posters who haven't been around in a while. Things like this have a knack for allowing people to abandon their hatchets and give hope to someone who is ailing. I shared alot of things with Evan, some of which he posted here a few years ago, as I trusted in him. Things got bent out of shape, but somehow I still feel an attachment. Really really am hoping the best for him.
  23. I am truly sorry for Evan and hope his improvement and better health comes back. I've had some difficult times with him personally, but all that is forgotten and this saddens me. Please Evan, if you read this, know it's honest and heartfelt. I can kid and mock and seem to be the most bigoted-obnoxious-hateful person some may know, but really, I'm not like that. I have the heart to forgive and forget.......others may or may not. Rock on brother.....may your future be bright and you return to the funny, intellectual and nice guy that you are. PEACE
