  1. The first shot is Sydney, the bottom two are Melbourne.
  2. The community is forever grateful for whatever you can provide! Thank you for sharing this with us.
  3. I've seen a few mentions of Gallows Pole, but not Rock and Roll. Would you recall Friends and/or Tangerine being performed? These are rumored rarities but have yet to be confirmed.
  4. Glad to be a part of this through syncing the audio. Very happy to see this footage finally out there -- hopefully others could follow in suit with this.
  5. Old quote but I just dug up some Hendrix pics of him performing at Tulsa and I think it's a match. Note the curtain behind the stage as well as the stage itself...
  6. There was a Zep Sirius channel back in May that played studio and officially released live and outtake material, but only lasted through that month.
  7. Sam is talking about the source tape itself, not what is being released. He somehow has access to more details not publicly known and that’s what he was describing from.
  8. Not sure where you're seeing anything about a new sample here. It's just an article about the liberation of the Levee and Black Dog samples.
  9. Yep, definitely 8/22 based on their clothes... great shots! Jimmy wore a red button up shirt the night before. Hopefully one day you can find the rest.
  10. Which 1971 and 1972 gigs were you at? Particularly there are not many photos of the band at the Forum on August 21, 1971. If you've got a gallery of those, that'd be a treasure trove. Phenomenal shots, by the way! Can't imagine how awesome it was to see them live from that perspective.
  11. Thanks for posting this here — I hope it is ok with the mods. If you are interested in this complete free fan-made project, send me a PM here or email Badgeholderblues1977@gmail.com!
  12. The 16mm footage does not have Train (I’ve seen the beginning of the reel, it starts with I Can’t Quit You), but I’d say it’s likely another audience member probably caught it. There are probably tons of films from that festival yet to be seen.
  13. Though not complete performances, 1969.01.31 New York and 1969.07.05 Atlanta have some brief sequences of Train Kept a Rollin’. In terms of 1980, the aforementioned Zurich footage as well as Cologne have clips of it.
  14. It's a long and complicated subject but JPJ is a good clue: 27th - Crazy jacket/white shirt RnR-No Quarter, white shirt TSRTS-beginning of Moby Dick, polka dot shirt end of Moby Dick-end of show 28th - Crazy jacket/leather jacket RnR-The Rain Song, leather jacket Dazed-end of show 29th - Crazy jacket/polka dot shirt RnR - Dazed pre-bow solo, polka dot shirt post-bow solo-end of show Btw, the majority of the ending of Dazed and Confused is Shepperton, and WLL has a decent mix of genuine/Shep footage
  15. Carnegie was confirmed somewhere not to be recorded and I believe photo evidence backs that up. Baltimore nor Pittsburgh were multitracked, but there is some test pro footage shot for Pittsburgh out there. All 5 of the Earls Court shows were recorded I believe but we only have tangible evidence for the last 3 nights. Supposedly the bass drum mic wasn't working on the 23rd. You can probably take out all of the Japan shows except for the Osaka shows and add in 6/28/1970 Bath. The only confirmed shows are RAH, Long Beach/LA 73, Southhampton, the MSG run, the last 3 nights at Earls Court, and Knebworth.
  16. Mmm... I can damn sure tell you that in my years of experience with the TSRTS audio and video that it is all most definitely from New York and not anything else. Case closed
  17. It wouldn't be any of the July 73 shows -- we have video footage of the end of WLL for all three nights and no sign of a conga player nor congas (Bonham had timpani by then). Mike Quishie, a dancer, played the gong at the end of the 29th WLL. I direct you to this picture from 1971.09.03 New York -- looks like someone's playing congas next to Bonham (or it could be his drum tech). However, by the looks of Page's fingers on the fretboard and JPJ using a pick this could easily be WLL (if not Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, or Black Dog).
  18. www.thegardentapes.co.uk -- You are correct, however, that the first night supplies much of the show.
  19. Note the Giant Beat Ride alongside the 2002 Crash/Sound Edge Hi Hats.
  20. An 8mm film was used for a few shots in Rock and Roll and Kashmir (trivia: which has a bit of Hot Dog 8mm film as well), but there are alternate angles from the professional cameras only available on the DVD. More of that 8mm film can be found on the Knebworth menu, where there are more clips of TSRTS, Achilles Last Stand, and Rock and Roll. Plus, the missing video gap at the end of Whole Lotta Love is filled on the DVD with no 11th footage to support it.
  21. No. There are many different alternate angles from the 4th and 11th on the official DVD... if you have a good eye, you will notice some. It isn't as simple as mixing the best of what was shown on the screen, which was the case with Earls Court.
  22. The Knebworth shows, unlike Earls Court and Seattle, were recorded so every camera recorded to its own tape so alternate angles exist. The mix shown on the video screens were also recorded to tape as well.
