  1. Forgive me for asking, but what is a "car boot sale"?
  2. That's The Way Tangerine The Rain Song bores me silly, but that's just me
  3. Very cool! Glad to see JPJ is not waiting around for TCV and is staying busy.
  4. Ugh. The Firm. Two disappointing albums followed by Page's huge letdown of a solo album. Well, at least he was recording, so I guess that is something. Should have done another soundtrack, DW2 was superb in many aspects.
  5. I ALWAYS wondered why the hell Page didn't produce this himself? He would have given it such a heavy bottom sound, it could have been total killer. With Wagner, it's just lightly killer.
  6. Could someone make a list of all the projects Jason has done? My God, I had no idea he was in the reformed UFO. Talk about a guy who just wants to work all the time... Disregard of Timekeeping was my favorite stuff of his. Yes, someone needs to do a list.
  7. And the 10th anniversary of the O2 show....damn, where does the time go?
  8. I remember once seeing CT perform on TV. Wish I could find the clip.... The band starts the song (might have been Dream Police, not sure, but it was during this timeframe). And the band is just revving along, Rick Nielsen is flipping out (of course) and it must go on for two or three minutes. Then, sort of in the center of the stage is a door, and Robin Zander comes out and starts singing. I always thought this was one of their best presentations, and one of the best by any band. Can anyone find me the clip?
  9. ^^ Epic Neil as usual. Amazing how prolific this man is. It would seem at some point, every beat or rhythm has already been done, but he just keeps coming up with new stuff!
  10. Sammy is great! How was "Finish What Ya Started"? Such a great guitar line from EVH in that song...
  11. Well stated, and like LIVIN said, it's great that we had both bands. Who's Next is just sssooo good!
  12. A lack of outtakes. You're not gonna tell me what we got in the companion discs was all there was...cmon. Give us the 30 or 40 starts and half-baked versions of Stairway or Kashmir.
  13. Yes,Def a great review. Loved Beth when she would perform Morning Dew with JB. What a voice!
  14. Denny Green, coach of the Vikings for a long time! Great man, great coach.
  15. I am disappointed. ANOTHER remaster with some minor stuff tossed in....this is all JP is about until he stops. Just more reissues and remasters....new JP material and touring - never. Bank on it. and why not offer the mega-titanium deluxe version? 3 CDs, 5 LPs, 4 cassettes, and 6 8-tracks.
  16. Interesting, I did not know JP was vegetarian. yes, I hear what you are saying. I think there is a video on YouTube called "Meet Your Meat". Shocking in how insensitive the meat industry is, but truly amazing how it is not more disease filled given how dirty and messy it is. like you, vegetarian here, just for full disclosure, lol.
  17. Indeed, great news. agree, no need to counter sue, don't join the insanity that we are all railing against. also I would hope Skidmore's deal WAS along the lines of "you don't pay if we don't win". Pretty common.
  18. Thanks ZepsCoda. Man, he was def ON that night! Excellent playing.
  19. I didn't even know he had broken his foot, lol! They have aged pretty well.
