I clench my teeth at night and sometimes grind them, if under stress, which causes the gums to recede. Sometimes when I drink cold drinks, a tooth will hurt. It also causes tooth enamel to break down.

Thanks Walter. I am much better today. It was probably due to the champagne I had last night and that I skipped breakfast this morning. I am back to eating sensible meals...starting tomorrow. I have homemade peppermint chocolate cookies to eat. Yum!
