  1. Cutting my phone/cable/internet bill in HALF! Wait, more than half. Even better!
  2. Rafael Nadal WIMBLEDON CHAMPION
  3. I can't believe that I witnessed that match! I have no nails left! My favorite sport. My favorite player. AND HE WON! I've always been jealous of anyone who witnessed the epic Borg-McEnroe matches and now I can say that I've witnessed one of the best matches the sport has ever had. I'm so deliriously happy! I haven't been that nervous watching a match since Pete was down a set and 1-4 in the second set tiebreak to Rafter in 2000. It also isn't easy for me to concede that watching a match where Pete Sampras won his 7th Wimbldeon could be topped, but dear God in Heaven, what a match Federer and Nadal played today! I can't imagine anything ever coming close to this match...EVER! I don't expect Federer to wilt away by any means. Though he probably isn't feeling it at the moment, he should be proud of what a wonderful match he played. Losing 9-7 in the fifth isn't anything to be ashamed of. It will definitely take a lot for him to come back, but he'll do it. That's what champions do. Each of them showed such tremendous heart and determination and both should stand tall. I was going to get 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 tattooed on my arm but now I'm going to have to go with 6-4, 6-4, 6-7, 6-7, 9-7 instead ! I bow to them both ! Ok, back to celebrating Rafa's win! ps: I didn't even know Gwen Stefani was there. I don't think American TV showed her. Or I was just too into the match to notice. Either way, RAFA WON!
  4. There's an AFI's Top 10 Movies in 10 Genres special on CBS tonight. It lasts from 8-11. Though, I highly suggest basketball!
  5. Forza Azzurri! I will sleep with a smile on my face tonight!
  6. Great decision Roxie! Have a wonderful time! ---- From the Japanese Communication Breakdown.
  7. Well, it's great to have this thread back. Brings smiles all around!
  8. Roxie, we must share a brain! I came here to post those very pictures! Here's another
  9. JEANS! Plus more Bonnaroo pics here: Getty
  10. Ah...I thought he'd mouthed off to the ref. Very stupid on his part.
  11. Aww, you look so proud MsHD! Great pictures you've posted today!
  12. That's so exciting MsHD! I'm very happy you got to meet him. That's quite a grip you have on him in that first picture !
  13. I was thinking that too ! Words can't do justice to how incredible that match was. I wasn't home when it was on live and my father called me and told me what I had missed. Thankfully, they repeated it and I got to see the magic. Though, why was the Turkish goalkeeper sent off? I totally missed the explanation on that. It's going to take a long time for Petr Cech to get over this.

It would be wonderful to meet forum people! Only, Tahoe's half a world away from me. I'll be going to the show in Raleigh.
  15. I, wholeheartedly, second that!
