I feel for you. If only you were a bloke, you could marry a Thai girl and have Thai food every day, in your own home. Authentic Thai food, too - not the watered-down crap they serve in restaurants to cater to the unsophisticated Western palate. Alternatively, you could learn to cook it yourself. That's what I did - most of it is very easy - and when I met her, my Thai wife told me my Thai curries were the best she'd ever had. But she said my Pad Thai sucked.

My first totally successful chicken, bacon & mushroom pie. After his first mouthful, my son said 'This is delicious, Daddy'. (He will always wolf down my concoctions, and has correctly identified me as an immeasurably better cook than my ex-wife, but I think this was his first actual compliment.) I usually get the cheapest white wine I can find to cook with, but last time it was so weak I had to use the whole bottle, and the pie ended up tasting like vinegar. So this time I bought a semi-decent bottle. Also, my lardons usually disintegrate, but this time I fried them in advance and only added them to the mix just before putting it in the dish. A tip: never cook with any wine you wouldn't be happy to drink.

Well it can't be that, otherwise several long-term members would be ex-members by now. You know who you are.

I would, but a) I'd have to crop all my pictures, and b ) most people would get bored cos I'd only post Asian ladies.
