  1. Valid concerns yes, but he does act like an ass. I think its interesting when you've got Pete, Jack Bruce and others saying nasty things about Zeppelin, they sound like bitter old farts.
  2. I can say I've never seen him wear a cross, and yes that is Dave Lewis.
  3. Okay that photo is awesome, with the famous Tapestry behind him. I wonder what it actually went for when it was auctioned off a few years back?
  4. Well I have 8 of those - That Circus is really awesome wish I had that one.
  5. I love the Mary Janes - yum and mini snickers.
  6. Your knowledge is astounding thanks for the post
  7. It can be dangerous...I can be on there for hours. I have found some great new T-Shirts (Zep, Jimmy etc.). I collect Zep books, mags etc. so thats usually where I find my stuff.
  8. Getting Zeppelin mail my latest e-bay purchase. December 1976
  9. My sister-in-law who I love and is a real riot, rolled into town, steak on the grill and my Zeppelin book (1991) arrived in the mail.
  10. I'm reviewing old threads lots to catch up on. I can't tell you how much I love these photos. I have some in books but not all of them. Love the Jimmy Smile.
  11. Wow your post brought tears to my eyes. These songs that these four men brought into the world are so meaningful to all of us for different reasons. I listen to Tangerine & Thats The Way, so pretty and sweet, that I've been known to tear up depending on my mood of course. Thats the great thing about this band there is a song for every emotion, mood, event etc.. Jimmy's acoustic work touches me so deep. Great story so glad your a Zep fan now.
  12. WOW 8-tracks now that takes me back. Had Zep on 8-tracks, Rush, Sabbath, back then we thought 8-tracks were the coolest thing because we didn't have to get up and flip the album over and we could have them in the car. Except for the big clunking sound when it changed songs it was great. How Many More Times one of the best grooves ever.
  13. Yes it was. Fortunately I signed on early got a reduced rate, the number I wanted and could make the payments over three months. It is so beautiful, if your ever in Des Moines, Iowa Id be happy to share it with you.
  14. I noticed you had listed Dick Dale several times, one of my favorite artisits, my husbands Band the Delstars opened for him a couple of times in the 90's he is amazing.
  15. Wanted to clarify the comment about the Tarot. The Hermit card number '9' represent the birthdate of the 9th. The devil card in the tarot deck represents Capricorn.
  16. Thanks for posting this, I checked out the video's more nonsense taken out of context. Perhaps Jimmy should purchase and refirbish it, unless of course the govt. wouldn't let him.
  17. A couple of years ago our usual crew was attending the Iowa State Fair (family & friends) as we were walking through the outdoor stage area my friend said, "Is that GTBT being played on the PA?" I said "nah its a bango, no one's singing, that sure as hell isn't Jimmy". We got closer and it was Zeppelin's music being covered. We asked the sound guy what he was palying it was The Pickin On Zeppelin disc. God please don't tell me someone's heard it on an elevator?
  18. I saw them live in 95' fourth row, they were amazing one of the best concerts I've seen. I have every disc and I find myself always going back to the old stuff.
