  1. In the Marino v Usher lawsuit, the judge wrote: "Throughout this copyright litigation, Plaintiff’s Counsel, Francis Malofiy, has behaved in a flagrantly unprofessional and offensive manner. Seventeen of the twenty Defendants in this action have moved for the imposition of sanctions against Mr. Malofiy. I decline to impose sanctions for Malofiy’s abusive, disruptive discovery conduct, serious though that is. Rather, I will impose sanctions because Malofiy: (1) inveigled an inculpatory affidavit from unrepresented Defendant William Guice; and (2) after falsely assuring Guice that he was only a witness, entered a default against him." In other words, Draco Malfoy irritated the judge and tried to sneak stuff by the court. There's no reason to think he'll do any better this time round. That's why I say I believe Draco Malfoy doesn't really care if he wins, just that he gets paid a lot and gets lots of attention doing so, and why I hope that LZ's attorneys don't settle out of court. I believe Malfoy has made a big mistake. You know that Slytherins can only win duels in the short run, not the big battle.
  2. The guy doesn't even use his full name on his website. You have to look at the fine print to see the last name of Malofiy.
  3. Check this out - the Spirit attorney, "Draco Malfoy" really looks the part! Unbelievable - you couldn't make this sh*t up.
  4. You have come up with another brilliant idea! I'm going to play with that one. Will post here if/when I create it.
  5. Judges generally take court proceedings very seriously. Contempt of court is up to the judge to identify, too. But I bet the the attorney doesn't care about what a judge thinks. He is no doubt going to get paid by the client (Randy California's estate) no matter what, and like any successful ambulance chaser, he'll get more clients to file lawsuits for after the notoriety of this case.
  6. In hitchslap's defense, this is a forum thread about a lawsuit... but I have to say, I was taken aback by hitchslap's comment, too. Paralegals can get to know as much about the law as attorneys do, since it's the paralegals who end up doing most of the day-to-day work in a law office.
  7. I know what you mean, Steve Jones. If I never see that photo again the world will be a better place for me. I think I could post a photo of just about any dark-haired kid and label it Jimmy Page and it would be believed, because people just don't engage many brain cells any more. Try this: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ocs1AP4kWOA/U4YQ3aQvODI/AAAAAAAAADw/z_F2A7md6yY/s1600/NOTJimmyPage_IsMitchMitchell2.jpg
  8. Here's a link to a page with a transcription of the article: http://geirmykl.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/bilde-213.jpg?w=650
  9. Thank you - what a valuable resource this forum is!
  10. This photo has been cropped I guess, or maybe there are other images out there - I know I've seen a photo of JP with the Sherlock Holmes/Lyceum Theatre poster before but I can't place it and it'd driving me crazy! When/where was this taken, who was JP talking to, and does anyone have the full image or other images with the poster in them? Thanks.
  11. I'm curious as to what the design is on this T-shirt that we've seen in Tokyo photos recently.
  12. That photo group doesn't work for me as evidence that the "Peter Reeves" photo was taken at Orly Airport. In the photo which shows the words Paris in big letters, JP is wearing different clothes and shoes.
  13. I love it when a mystery can be solved! With so many good (and LZ obsessed) minds on a task much can be achieved!
  14. Hi Steve - a friend asked on a "Richard Cole" Facebook page and "Richard Cole" identified the person in the photo with JP as fashion designer Paul Reeves, who was a friend of JPs at the time and who was then involved with providing clothing design for Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones among others. I have done some quick searching for images of Paul Reeves from the 1970s but struck out. Another person provided this image but no context was provided for it and so there's no way to really know if that Paul Reeves is the same person as in the photo with Jimmy Page at the airport. At any rate, do you think the guy could be Paul Reeves? (Note that "Richard Cole" is in quotes because who can know on Facebook if a person is real or just has stolen the name)
  15. I haven't come across a positive identification of the guy on the left. I can't seem to find the answer posted elsewhere using "Montreal" and "airport" in the forums so hope no one minds my asking now. In other forum threads it's been determined that it isn't John Bonham or Sam Cutler (per Cutler himself), but then who is it? Thanks.

    Hot pics of Jimmy

Could anyone provide a link to an unaltered version of this photo? I don't know why anyone would have tried "fixing" it since there couldn't have been anything wrong with it to begin with, but this stupid version is all over the web and I can't seem to come across one without the "milk" mark and the lines under JP's iris and his eyes. Oh and I just noticed that the side of his face has been messed with, too. Thanks.
  17. Pinning down the specific issue of Circus Magazine is tough - you expect everything to be on the web but it's not.
  18. Thanks! So I would think we can deduce from the surrounding story that since the movie came out in 1976, the Circus magazine issue would have been 1976 or later.
  19. Thanks. I'll check back this evening.
  20. Does anyone have a clue where this photo was originally published? It appears to be a centerfold, but what magazine? Thanks.
  21. Is it going to be a recording or live performance and if the latter, then who is performing it?
