And the -led zeppelin 02 show celebration begins...

I just became a zephead on the new board...broke a hundred posts, woo hoo. fuck it, a good reason to have another beer. ha haa

I like the sound of the band better on -the song remains the same and it sort of ushered in the darker sound and songs of 75 and 77 shows. -How the west was won is too clean sounding imo, yes a fantastic show though.

How could you forget the speed freak guy during -dazed and confused. The backstage cop, "hey...lotta fun, lotta fun"..

Its great to read this review again, an account of -jimmy page overcoming a bad spot and negativity with his band backing him up. It makes one think of the rigors they must have faced on such a big tour, with such an epic setlist....where sometimes they had to "wear different hats". When i saw -page on the outrider tour, he had been sick before the show and there were reports on the radio that the show could be cancelled. The local radio station speculation was that it was going to be a show by numbers and that -page probably wouldnt play -train kept a rollin, alot of doubt surrounding -page in 88 after the atlantic 40th show. I admit i had my doubts too. Well, it was a great show and -jimmy must have summoned energy and got alot of positivity from the crowd. Nobody at any of those -outrider shows could ever forget the whole place singing along to -stairway to heaven. It was another triumphant show for -jimmy page and left the whole place inspired, with all doubts surrounding the -atlantic 40th gone.

It's interesting movie because there are the parts that you remember, like -john paul jones reading to his children and then parts like on -robert plant's sequence with the hawk attacking the guy in the castle, where the guy is seemingly holding onto a bird tied to his back...pretty funny bad movie stufff.
