Thankfully on the follow through it did not hit any of my pals...

Hey guys, and maybe some gals, do any of you agree with me on this one? ....i have always wondered why the winner of any tournament doesn't have his/her caddy with them when receiving their trophy/cheque. I would love to see the caddy acknowledged a little more by professional golfers in the winner's circle. Caddies have to be worth at least 5-8 good club selections or , putts read, during a match. And they are in for for 10% of the winnings anyway. Thoughts? P.S.- Lets look at running a fun Masters pool on here if we can. If anyone has any experience in how we can do that it would be great and appreciated....

Rick c'mon man, how can you say that?....Golf is awesome! A very spiritual game and a true teller of a person's character. Don't let your work mates paint the rest of us with the same brush. Golf is one of the sports that the participant is truly on their own in nature while being tested by the varied terrain. It's also, as they say, 90% mental and 10% physical, but very much a sport. How about if I take you out with me in a cart. I will golf and you can shoot any signs on the course, but at least we'll have some more time to talk in detail....lol... People become fanatical pretty much after they hit their first pure shot. The golfers out there will know what I mean. Once you do that, the bug bites and you are in the game for life.

CP, Babs, I would love to see Ian Poulter do it. I think that after that unbelievable playing/putting exhibition at the Ryder he is my man this year. Love him!......... ....of course if Mike Weir, Graham Deleat, David Hearn, or any other Canuck won I would be happy with that too. It`s tough to get a good fight going in golf talk CP!.. .maybe once we find out what palyers are gun owners and which ones are not will lead to more arguing and name calling amongst us..... lol ...cheers

Really excited about The Masters coming up. I look forward to discussing the first major with this golf group. And hey, we have not have any fights on this thread yet! Was talkin golf with Chillumpuffer. Thought I would see if there was a golf thread and could not find one so what the hell, may as well start one. Anything golf related goes and you already get 3 strokes off your handi-cap if you post here. Keep it in the fairway and no 3 putts allowed.

my handicap is the actual game lol...but I love it ......I am a 25 now but capable of so much better if I can just get out of my own way...I've shot a 74 in the Domincan at a Robert Trent Jones course, and shot a 79 here at home and probably should have quit then and retired.......now i struggle off the tee and have a major yip in my right hand while putting....It can be a train wreck but I had some success just recently at the end of last year and during a recent Tampa Bay golf trip with some pals......Gonna keep trying to get better. It is such a great game. Love it....How about you? First day of spring yesterday and still a ton of snow on the ground here ...phack I am tired of it. Love Canada and the changing seasons we have, but I've had enough of the white stuff...... Last year at this time we were golfing and drinking on patios......c'mon heat!

Another one i loved was Glengarry Glen Ross (Alec Baldwin mesmerizing and the entire cast is incredible)...have you seen it? Ciao
