  1. Steve, What is the story behind these enigmatic photos? They're obviously video stills as we've seen a snippet of Robert & Jimmy dancing with the German Shepherd from the Stargroves or Headley Grange session attributed to Eddie Kramer. Are we to infer that some of the recording sessions @ Headley Grange or Stargroves were filmed? Incredible if true. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. http://picasaweb.google.com/CaptCrunge/STI...286336133602850 http://picasaweb.google.com/CaptCrunge/STI...286338054128530 Stargroves or Headley Grange http://picasaweb.google.com/CaptCrunge/STI...871650744119074 http://picasaweb.google.com/CaptCrunge/STI...286338485616530 http://picasaweb.google.com/CaptCrunge/STI...886449283998466 http://picasaweb.google.com/CaptCrunge/STI...886458182774962 http://picasaweb.google.com/CaptCrunge/STI...886467090594194 Japan http://picasaweb.google.com/CaptCrunge/STI...286345102809666 http://picasaweb.google.com/CaptCrunge/STI...286346657245330 http://picasaweb.google.com/CaptCrunge/STI...286353072013794
  2. Steve, I don't know if this has been addressed in this thread or not. But it certianly warrants mentioning again if it has. What is the story behind "Black Zeppelin"? I've read a few accounts of at least some of the members of both Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin having an informal jam together in 1970. I've also read that there was a common friendship among John Bonham and Bill Ward from Black Sabbath. Recently I've read an interview with Ritchie Blackmore where he said that the tapes from those jams were in his attic at home and even goes on to mention which 2 or 3 songs were played together. I believe they are Black Sabbath songs. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  3. Awww,thanks,Aqua. You're adorable.
  4. Old,not current and already posted pics..but I'm in a pick posting mood today.
  5. No,its from the Zep days...around 1973. Jimmy's in his studio in this photo. It's actually a photo taken from film. If you look closely at the "Traveling Riverside Blues" video, you can see a few seconds of this same video.
  6. Hang on a sec. I'm not sure if I misread what Ross replied correctly or I'm mistaken. I'm almost positive The Beach Boys ( and JP) played both cities on the same day in 1985 or D.C. was the following year. Or The Beach Boys could have played both cities in 85 and only D.C. in 86. I am certain that there's video of Jimmy riding on a tour bus from Pa. to DC. in 1985 because I've seen it. That implies they played both cities in 1985 on the same day.
  7. Ross is spot on. They played both Philly and D.C. the same day-taking the bus down I-95. I was not close to the stage at all, actually. I could just BARELY make out Pagey on the stage over the 300,000 people in front of me. I'd also heard there were 1/2 million or more there that day too. Mr. T played drums-either before or after John Stamos.
  8. That's correct. The Beach Boys played a concert in Philadelphia where Jimmy Page ( John Stamos and Mr. T) joined them onstage in July just prior to the Live Aid show. It may have been on the 4th of July but I'm not certain. I KNOW it was the July 4th celebration but not certain if it occured on that day or not. I was there on Ben Fanklin Parkway-along with reportedly 300,000 other people. It was hot as hell that day. 95F or more. They also played in Washington D.C. I have video of both concert sand snippets of them travelling by bus from Pa. to D.C.
  9. I don't believe I've ever seen this photo:
  10. An epidural injection of cortisone to ease the back pain. And as usual, seeing any dog!
  11. What goes "clip clop bang bang clip clop"? An Amish drive-by !
  12. Oh,it gets better. This photo is from the Zep II studio sessions. 4 minutes of VIDEO are known to exist and were circulating in small circles. I'm not certain but I suspect the whole session was filmed and is in someone's vault somewhere.
