I was lucky, drove off yesterday and heard this racket coming from the car, wasn't till later I took a look under the bonnet and there were these bits of stuff spitting out, so I got someone to have a look at it and he told me that the fanbelt was ready to go any minute. Managed to drive home, parked the car and called RAC, bloke from RAC told me same thing that I was lucky it didn't go when I was out on the road.

I think I've caused a bit of an upset in the "Ramble On" forum, so i'm gonna stay here from now on, besides we need to keep this thread going.

I just had a strange moment in my head of that picture of robert/dog thing singing "we come from the land of the ice and snow", while galloping at full speed.... ...and no I have not been drinking, it's that cold I have, doing funny things to my head *must lie down*

ok here's a slightly mild one.. I see that the captain from the Costa Concordia tragedy is saying that he fell into a lifeboat by accident. A bit like those prostitutes accidently walking into Peter Sutcliffes hammer? (I'll get my coat...)
